FBI Agent Erased Evidence - Imagine That!
Judge rules ex-state senator's corruption case can proceed, says FBI investigator may face criminal charges

"Woods; Oren Paris III, president of Ecclesia College in Springdale; and consultant Randell G. Shelton Jr., formerly of Alma, are accused in a federal indictment of participating in a kickback scheme involving state grants. The Justice Department alleges Paris paid Woods and then-state Rep. Micah Neal, R-Springdale, kickbacks in return for $550,000 in grants from them to his Ecclesia College from 2013 through 2014."

Judge rules ex-state senator's corruption case can proceed, says FBI investigator may face criminal charges:

"FAYETTEVILLE — A U.S. district judge denied defense motions to dismiss the corruption case involving a former Arkansas legislator, revealing in his court order that the chief FBI investigator in the case is under investigation and may face criminal charges.

Special agent Robert Cessario had the hard drive of the computer used in investigating former state Sen. Jon Woods, R-Springdale, wiped after being ordered to turn it over for investigation.

Judge Timothy Brooks noted in Friday's ruling that Cessario's actions were being investigated by the FBI's Office of the Inspector General and he could be criminally charged."

  • Preface.
  • Do children have a right under the Gospel to Church-membership by Baptism?
    • 1 The Church-membership of children was directly instituted and positively commanded by the Lord himself as far back as the time of Abraham, in a covenant made with him, called expressly the Gospel, or covenant of grace, which Church-membership was not only not revoked by Jesus Christ, but was confirmed and established by him.
    • 2 Children are included in the promise connected with that covenant.
    • 3 Children are included in Christ’s invitation, and declared to he fit subjects for the New Testament Church or kingdom.
    • 4 Children are included in Christ’s original command commissioning and authorizing his ministers to administer the Sacrament of Baptism.
    • 5 Children are the lambs of Christ’s flock, as their parents are the sheep of his fold, and, therefore, their relation both to the Shepherd and to the flock forbids that they should be excluded from the fold.
    • 6 Children were included in the host of the Israelites as they were baptized unto Moses in their passage through the Red Sea, and which is declared to he an example or type of Christian Baptism.
    • 7 Children were included in the numerous family or household Baptisms that are recorded in the Scriptures.
    • 8 Children are included in the uniform practice of the universal Christian Church from the time of the apostles to the present time in the administration of Baptism.
  • Conclusions
    • 1 All persons who were baptized in their infancy may he satisfied with their Baptism.
    • 2 It is the duty of all parents to present their children for holy Baptism.
  • Upon the Consciences of Parents
    • 1 Christ’s command includes children. (Matt. 28:19)
    • 2 Baptism initiates into Christ’s Church. (John 3: 5)
    • 3 Baptism is in the place of circumcision. (Col. 2:11-13)
    • 4 Baptism is a means of regeneration.
    • 5 Baptism, like circumcision, brings the soul into covenant relation with God. (Gen. 17: 10)
    • 6 Infant Baptism must be practiced, because the promise is to the children. (Acts 2:38-39)
    • 7 Baptism is really a saving ordinance; not, of course, as a mere opus operatum, a mere manipulation of the hands. But in God’s economy it is a sacrament of saving efficacy, so says 1 Peter 3:21

About the Author – Emanuel Greenwald

Rev. Greenwald was born near Frederick, Maryland, Jan. 13, 1811, and was, like the prophet Samuel of old, dedicated by his pious parents to the holy office from his earliest infancy. His theological studies were pursued under the private supervision of Rev. David F. Schaeffer, who similarly prepared no less than fourteen other young men, in his own parsonage, for the work of the ministry.
Dr. Greenwald’s first parish was New Philadelphia, Ohio, and all the adjoining country within a radius of fifteen miles in every direction. At one time he supplied fourteen preaching points on Sundays and week-days. In 1842 he was elected as the first editor of the Lutheran Standard, and from 1848 to 1850 he was the president of the English District Synod of Ohio.
The years 1851 to 1854 were spent in the city of Columbus, during which time he held many responsible positions on important boards, committees, etc. In September, 1854, he accepted a call to the pastorate of Christ Church, Easton, Penn., which he faithfully served for twelve years. His fourth and last parish was Holy Trinity Church of Lancaster, Penn., in which he labored from May, 1867, up to his death in December, 1885. He began preaching every Thursday evening at a mission point in the northern part of the city, which soon developed into Grace Church, and afterwards started another mission in the western section which was the nucleus of Christ Church. An assistant being necessary for the increasing field, Rev. Charles S. Albert served in this capacity, then Rev. David H. Geissinger, then Rev. John \V. Rumple, then Rev. C. Elvin Haupt, then Rev. Ezra K. Reed, then Rev. Charles L. Fry. Long after his own generation will his memory continue to be revered as an ideal pastor and a man of pre-eminent saintliness. C. L. F.1

From American Thinker - Fun with Justice Alito

Fun with Justice Alito During SCOTUS Oral Arguments:

"How often does laughter repeatedly rock the Supreme Court during oral arguments? How often are oral arguments at the Supreme Court this hilarious?

Defending a state law allowing censorship based on political content before the justices of the Supreme Court is not a job I would volunteer for (even if I were qualified for it, which I am not). So, Attorney Donald Rogan, representing Minnesota in the case Minnesota Voters Alliance v. Mansky, 16-1435.a may have had a thankless task. Nonetheless, Justice Alito had a bit of fun leading him through questioning of what kinds of political content would or would not be allowed in various hypothetical situations.

The law in question allowed local election officials to bar people wearing clothing with political messages from polling places.  (transcript)"

JUSTICE ALITO: How about a shirt with the text of the Second Amendment?
MR. ROGAN: Your Honor, I -- I -- I think that that could be viewed as political, that that -- that would be -- that would be –
JUSTICE ALITO: How about the First Amendment? (Laughter.)
MR. ROGAN: No, Your Honor, I don't - I don't think the First Amendment. And, Your Honor, I –

Frank Abagnale Jr Discusses His Life, Family, Fraud Protection, and ID Theft

Frank Abagnale Jr and Leonardo DiCaprio

GJ - This video is worth watching on a number of topics - family, redemption, fraud prevention, FBI standards. Sometimes he sounds a bit like Augustine, a little too proud of his sins. However, he is far more repentant than the District Presidents I have known.

Watch until the end for information about ID theft and fraud protection. Technology makes it easier than ever before.

Barthian fraud continues to this day.
Here is Karl Barth with his Commie live-in mistress.

Progress - The Sermons of Martin Luther , Volume VII , Finished for Printing

Back cover, Volume VII

Yes, I skipped the Volume VI cover on top of the page because  Volume VII is done already, and VIII is being edited. That has been the normal state since this began. My brain keeps saying, "Out of memory, not enough for this function, reboot now."

To finish VIII and the Gems faster, I will send out expected volumes when they are also done. Exceptions are those who earned a dedication for a given volume.

From abandoning the Chief Article

Observe that these volumes are non-synodical, non-political. They are being published simply to highlight and support the primary office of the clergy - preaching.

From Luther's preaching came his insightful Bible studies, his faithful hymns, and the confessional material found in the Book of Concord.

That Old Debbul - Human Reason

One person said, "I cannot understand Mark 13, where God knows the day of His coming, but the Son does not."

I responded, "I do not understand the Incarnation. That is the ultimate miracle. The Word teaches the mysteries revealed by the Spirit, so we subordinate reason to the Scriptures."

I was not claiming to understand the Mark 13 reference, only saying that everything else is rather minor compared to God taking on human flesh and dwelling among us.

Mark 13
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

The Gospel teaches us faith. The Holy Spirit plants faith in our hearts through the Word and nourishes that faith through the Word and Holy Sacraments - which are the visible Word.

Nothing is quite as satisfying as teaching and studying the statements and sermons of Jesus. If we are studious, whether as laity or clergy, then we are necessarily teaching someone, if that outreach is only limited to our own household. But that is unlikely, because so many false and and dangerous notions get brought up daily.

I often think of the victory of remaining a believer during a lifetime of spiritual assaults, diversions, betrayals, and temptations. To remain trusting in Christ - that is good and bound to have collateral effect - collateral damage to Satan and his minions.

Think of this - a baby is baptized into the Faith and nurtured in the Bible as he grows up. Then he reaches seminary where he learns - to his astonishment - that everyone in the world is already forgiven. Pastor Papenfus admitted that he never heard of UOJ until he reached seminary. Four years at Northwestern College and no UOJ? But he argued for this pernicious and infectious dogma at Kokomo.

Now this Halle University dogma is so embedded in clergy that they loathe Luther and the Book of Concord, honor the teaching of a syphilitic bishop - Walther's mentor - and wonder where all the members went.

Dark Cat is not pleased with the positive response
to Justification by Faith.

That is quite remarkable, to have any post collect almost 1000  views, especially when that happens within a week.

I used to look over the list of posts and see what was attracting 200 or more.

This shows how significant broadcasting the Word can be. Someone was worrying about the effect of sharing the truth. I said, "Our job is merely to broadcast, now to worry about the effect of the Word."
