Greece And Rome Continue - Our Two Great Empires - And the Bible

The Emperor Constantine changed paganism into the Christian Faith, though he was far less than a saint.

The problem with the Western countries is abandonment of logic and the structure of thought.

Greece may seem tiny to us in our current struggles, but we have a foundation of language and thought that remains. Words establish the foundations, which continue for centuries.

My name is Gregory, based on the word for being awake - and it is easily found in the New Testament. Jesus urged his disciples to "stay awake" when they were drifting off.

Greek and Latin words worked their way into European languages, so we still use variations in Greek, Latin, French, English, French, and even more.

Most of our American language is being bleached away (or worse) and replaced with nonsense from the latest snazzy fads, which seldom last and quickly become garbage.

Most of the "new Bibles" struggle to make more money and lose more content. Words become content, and content becomes new thoughts, new errors, dreadful speaking and writing.

Obscene language is not only accepted as proper English but also makes even worse with repetition.

I learned Lassie Come Home from my mother reading the book to all four of us. We warried in ability and improved over time. Lacking that kind of training, reading became trouble and thinking laborious.

Constantine changed his world because he used the language and increased what people could use as a thinking tool. We have little of that now.
