Not So Puzzling:
Appleton the CORE of Doctrinal Confusion
An active WELS member thought up this new epithet!
- Appleton is where Church and Change began, thanks to Parlow and Witte.
- Ron Ash, chairman of Church and Change, has been there forever.
- Appleton is the home office of AAL, now Thrivent, a "Lutheran" insurance company that gathers millions of dollars to give to Habitat for Humanity ($120 million), ELCA, and the Salvation Army. Thriven is more unionistic than the National Council of Churches.
- Paul Copycat Kelm was there - not for long - but his hoofprints are still visible.
- Mark N. Avoid Jeske sent his minions, Ski and Bishop Katie there, to gather the elect from local WELS congregations and turn them into Groeschel-lites.
- Deputy Doug Englebrecht is so far into Church and Changism that he can see the soles of Valleskey's feet.
