Excommunicate These WELS Pastors - Guilty of JBFA.
The Supremacy of Blasphemy in WELS

“He points them to Jesus in whose name they were to be baptized. In connection with their baptism they would receive the forgiveness of their sins. Whether the phrase expresses purpose or result matter little. What is important is that forgiveness is joined with Baptism. (See also Acts 22:16). Baptism is not a symbol, but a means by which the Holy Spirit creates and confirms faith in the heart – faith that receives the blessing of forgiveness.”
Sermon Studies on the Epistles, Series C, for Acts 2:37-47, page 194. Northwestern Publishing House.

Authors of this volume - who should be excommunicated at once -

Dan, Jon, and Richard Balge, John Brenner, Charles Cortright, Randy Cutter, Ken Engdahl, Marc Frey, Bryan Gerlach, Richard Gurgel, James Huebner, James Langbartels, Tom Nass, Larry Olson, Don Pieper, Bill Shaefer, Mark Schroeder, Paul Wendland, and Jim Witt among them. The editor was then-Sem Prof. Richard Balge.

A WELS member pointed out that UOJ and justification by faith alone have existed side-by-side for decades. That is certainly true. The Gausewitz catechism was justification by faith, but JP Meyer was teaching and publishing rank UOJ.

"Only recently – in the past 3 to 5 years or so – has it become “our way or the highway!” with “our way” being only UOJ and nothing else. That’s what is so wrong about what happened to Rydecki."

He - or she - also observed that many passages on either side of the issue could be cited from various WELS sources.

Many could have publicly sided with Rydecki, but they silenced themselves. Bullies get away with their tactics because pastors do not trust that God will take care of them. Times of confessional crisis are fruitful for discussions, essays, books, and hymns. God is far more powerful that the abusive sect that is obsessed with teaching universal salvation for non-faith.

The trouble is, WELS has taught non-faith so effectively that its clergy no longer believe in God's power and grace. Nor do they even imagine the efficacy of the Word. Watch the carnivals expand while churches try to hang on to life with their day-care businesses disguised as "Christian Academies."

Pope lets Catholics join Anglican converts - Yahoo! News

Pope lets Catholics join Anglican converts - Yahoo! News:

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis is letting baptized Catholics join the new church structure created to receive Anglican converts.
The "ordinariate," which functions like a diocese, was initially designed to enable Anglicans upset over the liberalizing trends of their church to join the Catholic Church while retaining some of their Anglican heritage.
On May 31, Francis modified the norms to allow Catholics who had been baptized — but not yet confirmed — to become members of the ordinariate and receive subsequent sacraments there.
The Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said Thursday that the U.S. ordinariate had asked the Vatican for such leeway after getting requests from baptized Catholics who had fallen away from the church but wanted to rejoin it via the new Anglican structure to receive First Communion and other sacraments.

GJ - The pope models his administration after the WELS DPs. If he says it is right, then it is right, no matter what. He is the infallible judge.

Exclusive: Actress Leah Remini quits Scientology after years of 'interrogations'

“King of Queens” star Leah Remini is making a dramatic break from the Church of Scientology, a source said, after being subjected to years of “interrogations” and “thought modification” for questioning leader David Miscavige’s rule.

The source tells us Remini is quitting because of policies that don’t allow parishioners to question Miscavige’s management or the reported abuse of members of its Sea Org religious order — and for forcing followers to “disconnect” from family members branded as “suppressive persons” if they choose to leave the church.

Leah Remini

“It all began when Leah questioned the validity of excommunication of people,” a source said of her decision. “She is stepping back from a regime she thinks is corrupt. She thinks no religion should tear apart a family or abuse someone under the umbrella of ‘religion.’ ”

Former Sea Org member Mike Rinder blogged this week that at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ 2006 wedding, Remini innocently asked where Miscavige’s wife, Shelly, was. Former Scientology Celebrity Centre head Tommy Davis scolded her, “You don’t have the [bleeping] rank to ask about Shelly.” Mrs. Miscavige reportedly hasn’t been seen in public since 2007.

As a result, Remini “was put through interrogations and blacklisted within the church that she donated millions to and that her family has spent their lives in. She was put through ‘thought modification’ for five years,” our source said.

The source added that church friends Remini had for “25 to 30 years wrote internal reports” about her that “caused an investigation on her family.”

Someone close to Remini said she’s weighing going public “when she sees what the church tries to do. She has heard they use people to scare you into silence.”

The source added, “She’s from Brooklyn. The church can’t hurt her . . . they don’t have her family, that’s all that matters to her.” And, “It’s not about wanting or not wanting to do Scientology . . . The issue is that [Miscavige] is taking down this church and hurting people and families.”

A Scientology rep denied all allegations.

GJ - Blogger is in a bad mood today, so I have to post and revise and recover and edit again.

Everything posted above, against Scientology, is true of WELS and the ELS. The WELS leaders use hatchet men to chop up anyone who is gumming up the UOJ juggernaut. Pope John the Malefactor does his own wet work, as the Mob calls it, even against his fellow UOJ fanatics.

One can also find similar behavior in the LCMS, but it is watered down by its loose federation of conflicting dogmas and money sources. Matt Harrison has his own Miscavige - Paul McCain - which should warn anyone about the status of that organization.

When the Arizona-California District of WELS finally had its conference to "discuss" UOJ, DP Buchholz had already excommunicated Paul Rydecki and his congregation. Therefore, everyone there was afraid to "discuss" the topic. Nobody said anything, according to reports.

Imagine the first apostolic conference in the Book of Acts going the same way. Pope Peter has excommunicated everyone who disagreed with him. "Any questions? Does anyone want to move the previous question? Motion, second. Passed. We are so united in one doctrine. Amen? Say amen - now."

Deputy Doug Engelbrecht's district (WELS) has watched that comedy of errors. A pastor known for sexual harassment in his own congregation is the regional sex ed teacher for WELS. Just the guy we need for the WELS high school!

Instead of marching him out the door with a cardboard box full of his celebrity photos, Engelbrecht promised St. Peter Freedom that Ski would be back as pastor in a few months. Now that has changed to - not as a pastor - but back in a few months.

But thunder, lightning and wrath for anyone who questioned the sanctity of Ski, Glende, Engelbrecht (in descending order)!

Why do WELS leaders violate the Ten Commandments to get even? Because they are sure in their abusive sect mentality that their targets richly deserve the treatment.

Scientology deaths - strange and unprosecuted.

You do not rank high enough to ask about murders committed by WELS church workers.

No wonder many priests and bishops accused of sexual assault of minors, or covering it up, end up at the Vatican. One assumed that prosecutors just wouldn't prosecute there, or agree to extradite priests and bishops. It was worse than that. Only in 2013 has the Vatican put laws on the books criminalizing sexual assault of minors and child pornography, and that comes only ahead of a UN probe that says the Vatican doesn't protect minors from such abuse:

The Vatican finally outlaws child pornography and sexual assault

VATICAN CITY (AP) -- Pope Francis overhauled the laws that govern the Vatican City State on Thursday, criminalizing leaks of Vatican information and specifically listing sexual violence, prostitution and possession of child pornography as crimes against children that can be punished by up to 12 years in prison.

The legislation covers clergy and lay people who live and work in Vatican City and is different from the canon law which covers the universal Catholic Church.

It was issued at a critical time, as the Vatican gears up for a grilling by a U.N. committee on its efforts to protect children under a key U.N. convention and prevent priests from sexually abusing them.

GJ - John Paul II was quite active in covering up for priestly sex offenders. He rewarded Cardinal Law for the Boston debacle with a choice job in the Vatican, a promotion, and a chance to get away from the American press.

Likewise, WELS moved Tabor to dah UP, which made him hard to reach for the ongoing investigation of the murder of his wife in Milwaukee. His mistress pulled the trigger, but one might say this WELS pastor aimed the pistol.

Ms. Remini should have written a letter to Miscavige, that would have gotten the discussion rolling. Works in the WELS, doesn't it?

GJ - I sent a certified letter to SP Schroeder and two WELS pastors. Not one of them answered and Schroeder claimed he never got it. His signature said otherwise.
