Justification by Faith in the Augsburg Confession
"Also they teach that men cannot be justified before God by their own strength, merits, or works, but are freely justified for Christ's sake, through faith, when they believe that they are received into favor, and that their sins are forgiven for Christ's sake, who, by His death, has made satisfaction for our sins. This faith God imputes for righteousness is His sight. Romans 3 and 4."
Augsburg Confession, IV. Justification. Concordia Triglotta, St. Louis: Concordia Publishing House, 1921, p. 45. Tappert, p. 30. Heiser, p. 12f. Romans 3; Romans 4.

Place your faith in God, please.
ok
Oh, now I see it. strunk was concerned that some might place their faith in someone/thing other than "God" because of unclarity caused by the typo in the graphic. "Than" should be "that." Just an FYI.
Wait a minute. There's another one. Better fix it before someone places his faith in Luther or a compost bin for salvation. The comma needs to be tucked in closer to "merit."
Yes, I had two typos in one graphic. Now I am pasting them in from Word, after culling them from Megatron. Still, typos happen. I appreciate hearing from you when I have done that. You started this concept of the graphic plus the quotation, AC V.
