I suggest reading the statements coming from The Big Five - ELCA-LCMS-WELS-ELS-CLC (sic). I could add the ELDONUTS to make it The Sickening Six, because the writing has been on their wall a long time.

Emphasizing the good-good-goodness* of the safe sects, they continue to parse the exquisite wisdom of their declarations. I produce the Daily Luther Sermon Quote because the exercise is good for everyone, easy to find, and essential to remain a believer in the waning light of truth.

This is a scavenger hunt, a game to see if an official statement can be judged as an offal example. 

Scavenger Hunt - try to find a clear statement from the sect - that teaches 

1. Faith in Jesus Christ, 
2. born of the Virgin Mary, 
3. baptized by John, 
4. tempted by Satan, 
5. teaching faith and performing miracles, 
6. gathering disciples, 
7. enduring torture and the cross, 
8. dying for the sins of the world, 
9. rising from the dead, 
10. ascending to Heaven.

No managers in the Sickening Six can do this, because they are intent on covering up the offal and praising themselves (i.e. dodging questions, paying their friends' bail, defenestrating the faithful).

The test is simple but pure torture for them. Do their publications cause and nurture faith in Jesus Christ?

Efficacy Is the Doctrine That Dare Not Speak Its Name - In WELS-LCMS-ELS-ELCA.

The Smells and Belles bishops have left a profound, bad impression on ELCA, scattering the flock, electing more she-wolves, Liz Eaton even supplanting the bishop who was ahead of her Ken Sauer.

    More than one person has told me, even among others, "I never heard of the efficacy of the Word until I came upon your blog." I was not shocked, because in searching for the disgusting origins of Church Growth, the efficacy of the Word was central and yet missing from Biblical and Lutheran scholarship. Although the words for efficacy are found repeatedly in the Greek New Testament - even giving us the origin of the word "energy" - the concept barely exists in all the literature, in Kittel or the dictionaries.

    Efficacy is not just a word-group, but a central doctrine of Bible - from Genesis 1 and Isaiah 55 - to John 16 and all references to the Spirit at work in the Word of God. Needless to say - but I will anyway - efficacy is absent in Calvinism and the Church of Rome. Those who have read and studied F. Pieper realize that he was a hybrid, a Calvinist adopting the words of Luther but adoring the soul of Halle Pietism (Calvinism for the ignorant).

    Luther, Melanchthon, Chemnitz, and the Book of Concord are saturated with the efficacy of the Word, simply because they were Biblical theologians, not dogma tyrants (Walther, Pieper, Waldo Werning, Otten, Hale). Hale even declares that I once embraced his beloved Objective Faithless Justification, dreaming of an apostasy that belongs to him and his crew alone.

    The Lutherans of various stripes, secret codes, and GA graduation will never get out of their spiraling abyss until they repudiate their shameful dogma. Some fly to Pasadena, others to 

monasteries where the quiet is profound and the monks handsy.

ELDONA started as the Lutheran Confessional Synod, which was initially led by Bishop Randy DeJaynes, former ELCA pastor who went to prison for a time. ELS pastors Jay Webber and Kincaid Smith convened with Heiser to have WELS-ELS and LCS in fellowship. They were allowed to pray together. Heiser wanted to keep the Gerhard press, naming it Repristination Press, a bow to CFW Walther and Objective Justification.

The Lutheran Confessional Synod (LCS) was a Confessional Lutheran church, characterized by a strict interpretation of the Lutheran Confessions and a historical liturgy. Organized in 1994, when Christ Lutheran Church in Decatur, Illinois, broke away from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, it initially declared doctrinal agreement with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod,^[1][2][3] but broke fellowship with those two synods on June 14, 1997, because of differences in the doctrine of the ministry and the Lord's Supper.^[1][4] The LCS organized the Johann Gerhard Institute (a denominational publishing house) and St. Anselm Theological Seminary in 1996.^[1]

The LCS' first bishop was the Rev. Randy L. DeJaynes, consecrated to that position on October 7, 1994.^[3][5] As of 2009, stating a "desire to return to the Apostolic faith," some former LCS clergy were chrismated in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, while others entered the Roman Catholic Church.^{[citation needed]} At least one is now a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of North America. By 2012, it was reported that the church body had disbanded.^[6]

The Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of North America (ELDoNA) is a confessional Lutheran church body in the United States. There are twenty-eight pastors in the diocese, serving congregations in Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin plus Colombia and the Philippines.^[1][2]

The ELDoNA was founded June 6, 2006 at a meeting held at Salem Lutheran Church, Malone, Texas. A second diocesan synod was held August 28 and 29, 2007.^[3] The third diocesan synod was held at Christ Lutheran Church in Richmond, Missouri on May 22, 2008,^[4] and the fourth in the same location, May 14–15, 2009.^[5] For the fifth Colloquium and Synod, the diocese returned to Malone, Texas, May 12–15, 2010,^[6] and met there again for the sixth Colloquium and Synod May 11–13, 2011. The sixth Colloquium and Synod was the first in which all but one of the pastors of the diocese and the entire clergy of the Association of Confessional Lutheran Churches (ACLC) were in attendance. Among the significant decisions of the 2011 synod was the resolution to open a diocesan seminary in September 2012; the 2012 synod chose to delay that planned opening to 2014. The 2012 synod took place at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone, Texas the week of April 23–27, 2012, and the 2013 synod took place April 29–May 3, 2013.

In August 2013 the ACLC broke fellowship with the ELDoNA due to the latter's stand on the doctrine of Objective Justification.^[7]

In 2006, James Heiser was called to serve as the diocesan bishop. Heiser has published a volume of essays on the doctrine of the holy ministry entitled Stewards of the Mysteries of God.^[8] He is also the author of a study of the neo-Platonic revival which took place during the Italian Renaissance, entitled Prisci Theologi and the Hermetic Reformation in the Fifteenth Century.^[9]

In 2013, Repristination Press published a volume of essays by Pastor John Rutowicz which sets forth the diocesan understanding of the episcopal office: Holding Fast the Faithful Word: Episcopacy and the Office of the Holy Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of North America.^[10]

The diocese produces The Lutheran Herald, a monthly devotional journal that also includes diocesan news.^[11]

Efficacy - One Word To Cure the Ills of Christendom - Romans 10 and Isaiah 55. "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

 

KJV Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The bankrupt seminaries of all denominations have failed to grasp and to teach two major sections of the Scriptures. Both passages teach the efficacy of the Word of God, one in Isaiah 55, the other in Romans 10. Both passages are so clear than no one can ignore the clear message - everything accomplished by the Christian Faith comes from the exclusive effectiveness of God's Word.

This effect comes from 

• reading, 
• hearing, and 
• remembering the Scriptures.

Are popcorn, peanuts, soda, and coffee effective? Then why use these lures to make worship appealing? The crowds who followed Jesus into the desert ignored their peril because His Word was divine in authority, not like the teaching of the scribes and Pharisees. They were fed miraculously because they had so much faith in the Son of God. 

The Means of Grace Chapters

The connection between Romans 10 and Isaiah 53 is also significant. Several terms come up, teaching the same concept. Faith only comes from hearing the Word, also called the Rumor or the Report.

For centuries, Isaiah 53 meant very little. Rabbinic literature had trouble with a Suffering Servant. The disciples were initially deaf to the three predictions of the suffering Jesus and His resurrection. But read or hear Isaiah 53 and Romans 10 together - The report of Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection creates faith in Him.

KJV Romans 10: 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our Report?

That is why we read the Scriptures to newborns when they are baptized. They listen and pay close attention to everything. That is why it is so good to hand a newborn to a stranger wearing a robe - instant in waking up and getting attention, plus crying. The doubters say, "A newborn cannot have faith. Wait until he is 6 years old, or 8, or 12." But the baby has faith in his mother and becomes peaceful and happy in her arms, from her whispers. The Word which created everything in the universe (John 1:3) also plants Gospel faith in the heart of the infant.

Today's Lutherans 

Reject Faith in the Scriptures

Faith in Jesus Christ is almost completely gone among the Lutheran synods, worshiping themselves and praising Holy Mother Synod. ELCA is farthest out simply by embracing every error of our time. The ELS-WELS-LCMS-CLC-ELDONUT sects have the same hardness of heart, directly from clinging to CFW Walther, BA, and his notorious repetition of Objective Faithless Justification.

Consider the irony - Jim Heiser, searching for his bishop's mitre, united with the ELS and WELS to deliver one more Waltherian sect into this world. They formed the Luther-lite Confessional Synod, which adored Objective Faithless Justification. Later, without blushing, they switched.

Another irony - the Lutheran sects oppose Luther and the Reformation.

And - they love every Bible but the KJV.

And - they are failing just as fast as the mainline sects because they have the same rationalistic, works-righteousness.

The sects have no power because they do not recognize the efficacy of God's Word.

One pastor stopped talking to me because this is a translation of Knapp, ignoring the fact that the Calvinist translator - a dominant Calvinist in his time - used these soon-to-be-popular terms. His sect will soon be "only a footnote in the history of Lutheranism."

ELDONUTS Short of Two Players - At Least - But Continues To List Them

Heiser was welcoming the Rolf Sect into fellowship with the ELDONUTs, when he told me in advance "We are getting rid of Rolf."

Heiser also welcomed Robert Larson into fellowship, another papal pratfall.

The Lutheran ELDONUT Herald went covert after I posted telling photos and information from its pages, three pastors having left the heaven-on-earth sect. But the Herald popped up again. Two more (1 pastor, 1 deacon) have left, according to the website of Good Shepherd in Rogers, Arkansas. Why are people allowed to imagine otherwise? Must I report the facts?  Confessionalism is told to whisper low in Zion lest she be heard on the streets of Gath.

 This is the only way to view Walther, a felon who protected his bishop, who was another felon. Missouri portrays him as without sin.

Walther and Heiser followed bishops of ill repute and made themselves into infallible popes.

 The 200th anniversary of Walther's sacred birth allowed for no errors in his life. The Soviets were more critical of their heroes than the LCMS is today.

I read George Orwell's 1984 again. The novel reminded me of synodical behavior -

1. NewSpeak, which is identical to LCMS-WELS.
2. Fake wars with fake opponents. "We won again!"
3. Making people unpersons.
4. Separating children from their families.
5. Making the workers slaves while the leaders glory in luxury.

1. NewSpeak is the process of changing words and getting rid of tradition terms, like efficacy, Means of Grace, Justification by Faith.

2. Fake synod wars pretend that another synod - especially ELCA - is evil, a threat, even though they all work together with Thrivent and bow down to the Woke/DIE of ELCA.f

3. Those who alarm the synods by telling the truth become unpersons. Pastor Walter Maier, PhD from Harvard is an unperson because he was ardent for Justification by Faith and inerrancy. The current synods are all Objective (Faithless) Justification and abhor the King James Version, the only good translation using the Apostolic Text undamaged.'

4. The school system is designed to separate students from their families. This sets up the synod as Holy Mother Church and promotes bullying and various kinds of attacks on children who do not submit.

5. Ordinary pastors and teachers are impoverished and ridiculed while the synod leaders live in luxury and get all kinds of perks from Thrivent.

The Graphic Circulated So Much That One Person Wrote Me: "Was This Yours? There Is No Name, and I Am Seeing It Everywhere."

I confessed, telling the caller that I wanted my graphics to travel unimpeded, without the shun-button being used because it was I who copied a good quotation.

I have noticed that Lutheran sect leaders get worser each year. They start out acting as if they will be different from the previous one and they quickly go downhill. They are good at organizing a mini-Halleluia Chorus praising them and gasping at the notion anyone would object to the latest fiasco.

Heiser of ELDONUT fame is a good example. He started as an ex-LCMS pastor, discovered a bishop's hat in his sacristy, and then became a pope. 

In Praise of Tradition

The newest version of the seminary building is called Martin Luther University Seminary, but the official title still says Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.

I am still in shock that the largest Lutheran church in Canada, where I vicared, is being turned into low-cost housing. The Kitchener-Waterloo area had a number of the largest Lutheran congregations; they are also converting worship and education space for secular uses. 

Fifty years ago, the seminary building and St. Peter's were brand new. The 50-year mark for churches is usually the time when repair bills mount up - furnace and roof, plumbing, and so on.

My vicarage supervisor, Henry Opperman D.D., nicknamed Bishop Heine, was a traditionalist, eh? Ontario residents love to end sentences with "eh" so I had to toss one in. His response to anything new was - "What's next?!" He was close to tears when he phoned me, from Kitchener, about the latest seminary student for his parish.

 My vicarage supervisor was the pastor of the largest Lutheran church in Des Moines before he served in Canada, eh?

The spirit of change was burping, fizzling, and demanding new measures already in the 1970s. It is a good thing so many adopted the new without honoring the old, eh? Tradition in worship took a back seat and then left quietly out the back door.

We are using the gesima Sundays at Bethany, even though they are anathema everywhere else. It is now easy being a radical in worship, eh? Just go back a few decades and use what people loved and honored back then - hymns, the historic liturgy, actual sermons written out carefully so they can be preached without notes.

Minus the fish hat, Matt the Fatt is now using Roman Catholic regalia in Europe but not-as-gay garments in American ceremonies.

Costumes - it took a while, led by ELCA and then the ELDONUTs - now LCMS - the bishops and Archbishop Matt the Fatt. This means extensive investments in rich garments!, just like Jesus and His disciples. Few will hear a sermon based on explaining the text. The vast majority of Lutheran clergy, all ages and all genders, reject Justification by Faith and the Apostolic Text of the New Testament.

When people seize the corrupt and fraudulent texts, blocking the good traditions, decay accelerates, as we see today. The last time I looked, WELS had 60 or more precious published essays on the glory of Justification without Faith, aka - Objective Justification, aka Justification of the World, aka Universal Justification, aka Universal Objective Justification.

The pitiful Christian News cannot bear to use the words Justification by Faith and the Means of Grace. There were a couple of citations since the cub editor - Halestorm - tried to run a paper, but those words in CN are as rare as heterosexual smells and bells (high church) leaders.

How does this almost complete silence fit in with the LCMS-ELS-WELS claims of being -

• Orthodox
• Confessional
• Book of Concord Quia Marias
• Advocates of die Reine Lehre?

Censorship - How Well Has That Worked in the Lutheran Sects?

LCA-ALC

Everyone must go along with communion with the Calvinists (on their terms) and embrace pan-sexualism. Anyone who even questioned the virtues of the new agenda was shunned and hated out.

WELS-LCMS-ELS

Everyone must continue to hold the other two sects in contempt while promoting and supporting the rabid Church Growth Movement. Anyone who questioned Church Growth was lazy, a trouble-maker, and against the sect's priorities. They were shunned, silenced, an hated out - laity and clergy alike. Drunks, alcoholics, and adulterers were welcomed, protected, and praised for their DNA.

The Church of the Lutheran Confession (sic)

Their adoration of Calvinism, for any religion but their own, and for WELS and Church Growth was always on display. Echoing the WELSians they coveted, any departure from their obsessions was labeled "slander! Eighth Commandment!"

The Lord High Bishop wanted all kinds of help and free books from Martin Chemnitz Press International. But when free books and Bibles were brought to their Spirit anointed conference, the Right Reverend STM, roaring with authority, his ring flashing red with anger, ordered them out of the building. 

Do you think the cancel and censorship fad is new? The Lutherans have violated basic practice from the beginning of the Church, to discuss doctrinal issues. So the media today have simply copied the so-called Lutherans who do not even know what the Chief Article is. If they could burn people at the stake, as Calvin did, they would.
