Why do the Waltherian dimwits cite Romans 4:25 when the context demands the entire sentence? The Brief Statement, canonized by the LCMS-ELS-WELS places itself above the Scriptures and against the Scriptures.

The Reason Why You Can Share Jesus with Anyone!

One of the greatest comforts for the Christian is the teaching of Objective Justification. This is the teaching that God has declared the verdict of ‘not guilty’ upon the world for the sake of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

Here is comfort for you: Do you ever wonder whether your sins are truly forgiven? Do you have a past sin that haunts you? Do you wonder if God is still angry with you? Well, if the whole world is declared 'not guilty' for the sake of Christ, then you also must be included. Franz Pieper said,

"The reconciliation which Christ brought about is history, a finished event lying in the past that pertains to all mankind and is of an entirely objective character. For it does not consist in a change of mind or "moral transformation" on the part of man, but in a change in God; God in His heart is not imputing their trespasses unto men, but forgiving them (2 Cor 5:19)."*

God has forgiven you in Christ! He has declared it! It is an historic fact. This is also true for anyone else you meet (i.e. any other human): If the whole world is declared 'not guilty' for the sake of Christ, then they also must be included. Pieper continued, referring to the Apostle Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 5,

"To the report of the finished universal objective reconciliation the Apostle immediately adds that God has committed unto us the Word or news of this complete reconciliation in order that men may share in the finished reconciliation."*

This is the reason why you can share Jesus with anyone! We use the Means of Grace (God's Word and the Sacraments) to do this. In fact, the above quote comes from the section of Pieper's Christian Dogmatics which discusses and explains the Means of Grace. God's Word and His Sacraments are the means which He has chosen to deliver this beautiful truth of Jesus' forgiveness for everyone.

This does not mean that everyone will go to heaven. The other aspect of justification is Subjective Justification which means the benefits of God's verdict of 'not guilty' become yours through faith. Sadly, some people will reject this truth and remain in their sin. But until Christ returns we live in this time of grace and we can confidently use every opportunity to share the Gospel with others and let the Holy Spirit work faith in their hearts.

Be comforted, and know that you can share this comfort with anyone. No one is excluded, including you.

God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them. And he has entrusted to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, inasmuch as God is making an appeal through us." 2 Corinthians 5:19-20

Try reading the Bible as though it doesn't contradict itself and submit yourself to the revelation that justification is already in Christ and received from Him to the individual through faith. You don't manufacture justification with faith you receive it. The objective justification denier heretics imagine a justification that somehow didn't get off the ground in the work of Christ, it wasn't finished...till you justify yourself with faith. I notice in the article that Pastor Kerkow is careful to point out that everyone is justified IN CHRIST. He doesn't teach that the individual is justified apart from Christ...but IN Christ who IS already the justification of the world. The article is sound. "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men."

GJ - Quoting without a citation and without the translation is lazy. No wonder the newest NIV spells out Universalism so clearly.

The Solution

WELS, Missouri and the other corporations have established a fool-proof method of failing. They are not businesses, nor are they charities or agents of social work activism.

They have already flopped and will continue to decline, like the 300 year old church near the Philadelphia seminary (ELCA), closed by now.

Congregations and church bodies can only thrive on faith in Jesus Christ, the efficacy of the Word, and the Means of Grace. 

The heirs, actually the illiterate inbreeds of CFW Walther, have squashed faith in Jesus Christ with so much energy that they rave like crack-heads against Justification by Faith. Their favorite Bad Bibles - the Evil Four Plus the Beck - are designed, fluffed, and edited to destroy faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel Message.

The time has come for these money-fied institutions to stop robbing everyone with their deluxe salaries, benefits, cars, and vacations. They do not visit the poor but grovel before the rich.

I realize than many want to drag out their pathetic CPH books and similar toxic publications, as if they hold the ultimate truths. Here is a laugh - a future seminary WELS president attends Fuller Seminary, denies going there, and writes a disgusting textbook textbook on how to do everything wrong via Fuller. The efficacy of the Word? - what's that. The Means of Grace - no, we need to grow. 

Nothing good will happen until the dreary denominations return to the Source - the Scriptures. Any version will do, as long as it is equal to the King James Version and not other cures like the Covid vaccines and kudzu vines. 

Since the victims of this fiasco are being threatened with even more toxic waste, they have to rely on the King James and shorter works by Luther, not 400 page "Small" Catechisms.

Romans 1-5 is a good start.

Efficacy - One Word To Cure the Ills of Christendom - "And God Said - Let There Be Light: And There Was Light."

 

Explanation

Only two books in the Bible start the same way - "In the beginning..." 

People should be especially alert to this fact. This statement by God is so powerful and eternal that not even the Bad Bibles -- the Evil Four Plus One - can extinguish Creation by the Word.

Genesis 1 opens with the Holy Trinity - the Father commanding  Creation, the Son executing His commands, the Holy Spirit conveying this truth to us.

John 1 teaches us that the Son is the Word of God, and He is named as God - I AM - in many sermons of the Fourth Gospel. The three-fold use of the Word in John 1 reflects the Triune God and the Three Persons.

KJV John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

The English language, blessed by the KJV and Shakespeare, has given us a key to modern science. All living things are creatures - created - and not evolutes - evolved through dank and complex accidents developed in perfect harmony over billions of years.

Creation itself is proof of the efficacy of the Word. In my study of Judaism during seminary and Yale Divinity School, I learned that rabbis considered the Word to be God's powerful Word in every possible way. There are many rabbinical stories that illustrate this power.

Calvinists treat the Scriptures as dead letter. The preacher or teacher must make the Bible appealing and reasonable. For them, the Scriptures are like a garden statue, pointing the way, nothing more. That is why the Calvinism of Stephan/Walther has turned into rationalism and Universalism in WELS, Missouri, the CLC (sic), and ELCA. Seminex was widely scattered in the Lutheran groups, like the flu, among pastors and congregations who bowed to Tietjen. A surprising number of ELCA bishops were first in Seminex, crawling out of the Slough of Despond to infect more people. 

Roman Catholics worship and obey the Pope's commands, which are always contrary to the Gospel. That makes the Smells and Belles of high church Lutheranism so appealing to those wearing papal costumes.

Those who pretend to love the Book of Concord also fake a knowledge of Martin Chemnitz. The Formula of Concord, 1580, leaves them in the dust.

[The woeful history of the destruction of Jerusalem you can read in books, from which those who wish will easily understand this Gospel.] 9. God caused his threats to be executed even thus, that the city was besieged at the time of the Easter festival, when the Jews were assembled within the walls of Jerusalem from every land, and as the historian Josephus writes, there were together at that time about three million people. This was an enormous multitude. Only one hundred thousand people would have been enough to crowd the city. But all this great multitude God in his wrath intended to bake, melt and weld together into one mass of ruin. Yet, the Apostles and Christians were all out of the city, they had withdrawn into the land of Herod, Samaria, Galilee, and were scattered among the heathen. Thus God separated and saved the good grain and poured the chaff into one place. There was such an immense multitude of Jews present, that they were sufficient to devour a whole kingdom, to say nothing of only one city. They also fell into such distress and famine, that they devoured everything and had nothing left, until they were at last compelled to eat their leather bow-strings, shoe latchets and shoe leather; and finally mothers moved by their distress butchered their own children, which the soldiers snatched from them, for they smelt the odor of the boiling meat through the squares of the city. They used dove’s dung for salt, which commanded a high price. In short, there was distress and bloodshed enough to melt a rock to tears; so that no one could have believed that God’s wrath could be so horrible and that he would so unmercifully martyr a people. The buildings and the streets were piled full of the dead, who perished from starvation, and yet the Jews were so raging that they defied God and refused to yield, until the emperor was compelled to use force and capture the city, when they could no longer maintain their ground.

WELS and LCMS Boast Their Fidelity to the Scriptures and the Book of Concord, But Their Leaders, Pastors, and So-Called Scholars Repudiate the Word of God and the Confessions.

This snip-n-clip version of the Bible came from WELS and proves to be exactly what Missouri and WELS have been practicing for many decades.

Missouri and WELS promoted the NIV first, and then the newer, even worser NIV. Were they touchy about the National Council of Churches RSV? 

No, they also like the ESV, which is almost the same. Luther emphasized the Traditional Text while the Evil Four plus Beck Bibles adopted the ludicrous Sinaiticus and the fraudulent Vaticanus texts. Apparently, Missouri and WELS love removing and distorting verses when they can erase faith and divinity of Christ passages. 

Why did Missouri need to publish the Kolb-Wengert Book of Concord? Is there concord (harmony) with ELCA and the LCMS?

Missouri and WELS began with Justification by Faith, no matter what they claim today. The Walther leaven, inherited from the syphilitic bishop Martin Stephan, worked its way slowly through the system. Walther never let go of it, and F. Pieper institutionalized it. 

WELS and the Missouri Synod have no claim on the Scriptures or the Book of Concord. No one said it better than the David P. Scaer, the David P. Scaer Professor of Hogwash at Concordia Seminary, Ft. Wayne.

LCMS and WELS Delegates - Thrivent Gave Birth to Triplets

"We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord, and we pray that diversity will one day be restored. And they'll know we are Thrivent by our dough, by our dough, and they'll know we are Thrivent by our dough."

You read about it first on Ichabod, because the rest are busy arguing over trivia.

Lutheran Brotherhood (Jacob Preus) and Aid Association for Lutherans were chartered as lodge insurance, based on the earlier efforts of Masonic and Roman Catholic fraternal insurance. That supposedly gave those insurance companies a break because they gave benefits to the members.





That probably changed when the two merged to become Thrivent, which sounds like a potion prescribed by a vet. The executives have prospered, with some getting $1 million a year in salary. Proof of the deluxe treatment is Mark and Avoid Jeske, who gets more than $120,000 a year for being on the Thrivent board. Jeske arranges joint ELCA-WELS-LCMS pastoral conferences, women pastors included. See above.



Thrivent benefits in arranging programs through unified ELCA-WELS-LCMS efforts. That was being done before with LB and AAL, but the two companies had to work out who would do what and how much each would share in benefits. Members and pastors might want to ask about where all the money went. Guidepost used to be free in looking at all non-profits, including Christian News, but lately the cost has been $1,000 and up to peak at the financials.  LCMS had huge non-profit salaries for such niceties as CPH.

Straight talk, lopsided ambiguous smile.

Hilarity - or sadness - comes from the fact of all this going on in public view with no one having any problem with it. If Thrivent gives $17.67 of matching funds for a parish bake sale, and gets a gushing letter of thanks in the church bulletin, the congregation is happy and plans for the next sale. I once installed free cardboard fans in the pews at my church and gave the local newspaper this feature - "St. Timothy Installs Energy Efficient Air Conditioning in the  Worship Area."

The big money at Thrivent is None of Your Business, but they offer a very nice golden calf to carve up for the ELCA-WELS-LCMS executives. Let's not be squeamish. Thrivent gave birth to triplets, and Mark Jeske was the midwife. Celebrate!

Then - Costa Concordia Cruise ship, poorly navigated, sunk - and many were drowned for no reason.

The Costa Concordia now, is just as seaworthy as WELS, LCMS, ELS, ELCA are today. A little paint and a lot of bars will ease the pain.

I have learned a lot about nutritious food, junk food, and food fads in the last 18 months. I recently enjoyed some fabulous cooking when the Andersons visited for Christina's birthday memory. 

The first step - I read Dr. Joel Fuhrman's Eat To Live plus some of his other books - a big emphasis on 

1. Chopped leafy greens, spinach and kale.
2. Beans, low salt chick peas.
3. Vegetables, light on corn and potatoes.
4. Fresh fruits,  
5. Seeds and nuts, especially walnuts (without ice cream as a base).

Second step - eliminating as many bad foods as possible, replaced by the list above. Bad habit foods are a waste of money and promise only a waist of funny -

• Fast food businesses of all types.
• Ice cream.
• Pizza.
• Hard candy, especially Werthers. Don't. Even. Ask.
• Bread in excess. PBJs.
• Fruit juices (sugar water).
• Colas whether sugared or chemistry prizes.
• Popcorn and Fritos.

Nothing on the bad habit list is really bad but each one sets up high blood sugar and craving for that food. Staying away from the bad food itself can build an "I deserve just one" binge that sadly makes up for the lost opportunities.

The key - in my opinion - is having a good mix of nutritious foods and the use of fruits to replace desserts and other tempting delights. 

Three good meals are like this -

Breakfast - toast and scrambled eggs.

Lunch - chickpeas, chopped kale/spinach, blueberries, walnuts, mushrooms, onions/peppers, and a small amount of sausage. 

Supper - two giant Cosmic Crisp apples. I find this very satisfying, replacing the urge for desserts. Other fruit options include fresh pineapple and citrus.

Any fad diet with a trademarked name is bound to have serious flaws. 

Cat selfies are being promoted by smartphone users.

Efficacy - One of the Clearest and Most Powerful Biblical Explanations. "So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My mouth."

KJV 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Explanation

Don't the future WELS pastors study this passage in Hebrew in the Isaiah II book from Jungkuntz' father-in-law?

How can anyone miss this foundational passage about the efficacy of God's Word?

When rain and snow are sent from God, He always produces results. That is the essence of Church Growth feverish longing - results.

But here is a twist of doctrine. God sends His Word to produce results while the false teachers of WELS-ELCA-LCMS-ELS-CLC send gimmicks, programs, and entertainment. 

I was complaining about our drought to a neighbor in the hospital, who saw the thunderstorm rush by from the picture window on the sixth floor. Rain pounded the hospital at 4 AM, for a few minutes. I said, "That is why the neighborhood lawns were a lush green." Neighbor - "Check your rain-barrel. It has to be overflowing." It was.

 

God says through Isaiah, "When I send rain, it has to have an effect, and I have established three effects of My Word:

1. My Word will never lack My purpose.
2. My Word will always accomplish My purpose.
3. My Word will always prosper My purpose." 

Farmers and gardeners know how true this passage is, because rainwater has a powerful effect while irrigation water simply keeps plants alive.

God's Word is never a dead letter that we bring to life or a metal statue in the garden, pointing the way. His Word will enlighten or blind, convert or harden like the Pharaoh's. 

2.

We cannot judge the time or manner of its effect, but He will accomplish His purpose with His Word. That may take 20 years or 20 minutes. We trust in His Promises, not in our clever speculations.

3.

His purpose will always prosper, which can mean the destruction of a pagan population or the revival of thousands of former unbelievers and skeptics.

WELS Convention Begins with Fuller Seminary Clown Preaching - First VP Huebner, Who Replaced Church Growth's Wayne Mueller, Another Jeske Gang Member

Jim Huebner's father led the cover-up of the infamous Tabor murder. Read this Ichabod post about hazing rituals in WELS. 

Michigan Lutheran Seminary once had 300 high school students. Now they have only 192 students - Church Growth at work! John Lawrenz, as a previous principal, laughed about students holding a fellow student upside-down, outside an upper level window. They slipped, he dropped head-first, and broke bones. Lawrenz laughed. The appalled parents found a better school.

WELS is a sect where alcoholism is praised and promoted, lying is a team sport.

"Do you know who my father is?" - The WELS Crocodile Farm always has an alibi for alcoholism, adultery, and various felonies. They tell their tall tales about anyone who dares to challenge their abusive cult. Jim Huebner - we know, we know.

When Huebner invited himself to visit Shepherd of Peace in Columbus, the local WELS clergy and fake clergy included three divorced pastors out of six, which was OK. They embraced Fuller Seminary dogma, just like Valleskey, Bivens, Huebner, Kelm, and Larry Otto Olson. 

I would not trust the numbers published by WELS. They never tell the truth. Schwan checks were not always included in the money mailed in - as told by someone in charge of handling the funds legally. "Missions" are often renamed and restarted to show how active they are. 

But now - like the LCMS and the Little Sect on the Prairie (ELS) - they have a legacy of bricks and mortar for the glory of Holy Mother Synod. They must carry their inflexible, demanding, and unmoving burden, soon calling for furnace, AC, roof, and population repairs.

Relax, WELSians, a new generation of alcoholic pastors and teachers are becoming senior leaders, eager to take the place of their sclerotic seniors. They have a new gimmick to divert attention from the actual numbers - Unstuck. Never mind their love of the worst Bible ever - the NIV. Ignore their anti-Lutheran, anti-Scriptural dogma. Let the youngest - if they can be found - take over.

Yes, this is being sold to WELS suckers, who need to be unstuck to "grow, Grow, GROW!" - quoting their patron saint, Waldo Werning.

WELS, ELCA, LCMS - who says Lutherans cannot get along? Some ELCA parishes have removed material as soon as I posted about them. Mark - The Germans Stopped Coming - Jeske is the key person in bringing ELCA clergy and the LCMS-WELS together. Now is a good time to dab tears from one's eyes - or were they blinders?

WELS has blown a lot of loot to make themselves larger, but they keep shrinking faster than ever.

The Southern Babtists rejected the NIV that WELS loves so dearly. NIV Romans 3 - "all" are justified? 

 How about that Sprinter statue? 

ELCA has nothing on WELS, a leader in societal evolution and hanky-panky.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary dresses their young men in dresses each year, good training for Martin Luther College and Mordor (Mequon). "One gender to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them."

 

Cross-dressing Michigan Lutheran Seminary students lead to cross-dressing pastors and congregations. No problem - ELCA understands and applauds this breakthrough.
