Paul Calvin Kelm lit up when he heard that the Arminian Chaplain's Association gave him an award for being the oldest college chaplain still working.
The ACA said, in a press release, "Most college chaplains are young and hip, rather than elderly with a bad hip. Rev. Kelm turns 66 this month. He has also set a records for:
- Serving only one congregation as a senior pastor and spending the rest of his life as an expert on evangelism.
- Having the most calls from a synod that recognizes him as a heretic.
- Attending the most conferences and schools from the widest variety of denominations, sects, and cults."
