The Luther Sermon Quotes Will Change Your Religion

But, the greatest abuse occurs in spiritual matters, which pertain to the conscience, when false preachers rise up and offer their lying vanities as God’s Word.

Behold, all this is decorating one’s self with God’s name, or wishing to be fair and maintain our cause, whether it occur in gross, worldly business or in sublime, subtle matters of faith and doctrine. And among liars belong also blasphemers, not alone those who are very gross, well known to every one, who, without fear, disgrace God’s name (they be long not to our school, but to that of the hang man); but also those who publicly traduce the truth and God’s Word, and refer it to the devil. Large Catechism, Jacobs' Book of Concord, not to be confused with the CPH parade of blasphemers, always producing their own drivel so we can bow down to them.

This may take some time, get away from Resistant Ignorance, a term related to nutrition. Resistant starch means that some foods seem much higher in calories than they are in reality. Whole grains,  fresh fruit, and beans are a good example - a vast difference between apparent calories and their actual benefits. Resistant Ignorance is fed to seminary students and the laity, so that the true, inspired doctrines of the Bible are replaced with the Enthusiasm of the false teachers, anything separately divined without the Spirit at work in the Word (efficacy - a hymnal and New Testament word used often there but never found in the synods today).

Imagine Jacobs being tolerated in any synod today, especially his own - ELCA - not his fault.

The current sects - ELCA, WELS, ELS, LCMS,  CLC (sic), ELDONUTS - place their confidence in their organizations, in whom they trust. Rolf Preus hilariously defines orthodoxy as belonging to the correct sect, not as conforming to God's Word through faith - a dirty concept for those listed above. 

Luther defined anyone teaching the Scriptures in order to change the meaning of those passages - as blasphemy, a direct attack against God.

Their infidelity in picking and praising corrupted Bibles - the Evil Four plus Beck - proves why the deleted passages of their Bibles reveal opposition to faith in Jesus Christ and acknowledging His divine nature. Those are the targets of Tischendorf, Wescott-Hort, Nestle, Beck, and Kurt Aland: genius level frauds who labored for the last century - consistently repeating, as a group, the same errors they fostered to set aside the apostolic Traditional Greek New Testament.

Proof of Resistant Ignorance comes from the fetid dogma of the sects listed above. With great seriousness, they sell their blasphemous Bibles and patiently claim that Paul taught against faith in Jesus Christ, His resurrection absolving the entire world! - as justified!, as guilt-free saints!

Liz Eaton is selling the same dope Bibles as Mark Schroeder, Matt the Fatt, and other notables. The executives and professors are unified by their rejection of the King James Bible. They are delicate in their advocacy - which dope Bible they approve - any modern Bible but definitely not the KJV. The flawed New KJV suffers from bowing to the apostate readings of the moderns, but the New KJV is still too beholden to the classic KJV and Luther Bible.

The Church Growth sororities model themselves after the Church of Rome.

Resistant Ignorance is very powerful, useful, and effective. That is how the Lutheran sects above promote the errancy of the Bible (scholars are divided!) and the necessity of Fuller Seminary's Church Growth tactics. Strangely, the Pasadena poltergeists replace the alleged devotion of the synods to the Book of Concord, which assumes faith in the Scriptures and agreement with the Scriptures. 

The synods define right and wrong as obedience to them. They are run by politicians who bided their time to enjoy the perks. 

1. They have succeeded and climbed to the top, 
2. Genuflecting to a unrepentant adulterer, 
3. Building monuments through irrevocable trusts, covering up for the felons, and 
4. Treating any reference to Biblical doctrine as worse than a felony - TREASON! OFF WITH HIS HEAD! WRECKING HOLY MOTHER SYNOD.  

Can Matt the Fatt Be Fixed in Time for His Re-Enthronement?

I enjoy seeing colorful costumes, but once a year is enough - on Halloween. Some children eat way too much candy.

The same Matt Harrison who put the fake Luther's Large Catechism on hold is now vilifying those who question its merit. His recent tirade suggests Matt is condemning Matt and using his staff to pile on. "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:8

Attacking people in vague but menacing terms is common in the Synodical Conference hierarchy. Every target of venom is supposedly causing the ruin of the sect, even though the leaders have done a dandy job of wasting money, indulging their appetites, and destroying congregations by playing politics with the pastor.

His Holiness, the Synod President, is in an awkward place. He did not complete graduate work, not even from the notorious diploma mill called Concordia Seminary St. Louis, where a PhD has worth only in the LCMS. He was mostly a fund-raiser for his non-profit corporation, which he shut down once he was SP.

This new Large Catechism is a fake because it is only 15% Luther's Catechism. That should remind potential buyers of the so-called CPH Small Catechism, weighed down by 400 pages! of fluff, including sly efforts to promote Objective (Faithless) Justification.

CPH also created the windy dogmatics volumes, easily a match for the Braaten-Jenson fiasco, which ELCA disavowed while selling it. That may have been the model for Luther's Large Catechism.

Ye victims of Harrison's twisting in the wind, get a Large Catechism which is 100% Luther - or just open up the Book of Concord. Luther is the best Biblical teacher of all time.

And remember - this Synod President was a nobody who visited Herman Otten and sang a flattering ballad dedicated to Herman Otten. However, when Otten was close to dying, Matt the Fatt sang a vitriolic song in public, calling the kingmaker "a liar" and "crazy."

The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) has resumed distributing its new annotated edition of Luther’s Large Catechism over the objections of some of the denomination’s most conservative members and pastors.

Luther’s Large Catechism with Annotations and Contemporary Applications contains the unaltered text of Luther’s Large Catechism, a core Lutheran doctrinal statement, with 80 essays applying Luther’s ideas in modern society. The book is over 700 pages long.

Concordia Publishing House released the work in mid-January, but two weeks ago, LCMS president Matthew Harrison announced that he had asked the denominational publisher to stop distribution so they could “evaluate the comments and critiques received and revisit our doctrinal process.”

Critics raised concerns that some of the essays, which are not Lutheran doctrine, mishandle current issues like racial justice, human sexuality, and gun rights.

In an email to Christianity Today, Harrison described the controversy as a “handful of quotations were taken out of context to allege some conspiracy to import CRT, sexual ambiguity, and woke issues in general into the LCMS.”

By February 2, he had asked Concordia Publishing House to resume distribution."

We are all salted and peppered with Shakespeare, the pen name for the Earl of Oxford. I like to mention the truth about the bard to get certain people eager to send raging emails. Of all the writers of English literature, Shakespeare had the highest vocabulary - greater than Milton's - yet we are supposed to think a stage actor wrote the plays and sonnets of Shakespeare?

The fact that we think of Shakespearean phrases at odd times is a good reminder that the same level of literature is found in the King James Version of the Bible.

I sent Reading the Psalms with Luther (CPH) to someone, because it is a good, quick guide. However, the Psalms in that book are English Standard Version, a Bible owned by the extreme Leftwing National Council of Churches, just a cute avoidance of the squalid RSV and the New RSV. The ESV Psalms read like Beavis and Butthead translating Shakespeare so dolts like us can understand him better.

Naturally CPH did not use their classic The Lutheran Hymnal with the Psalms but quoted the watered down Lutheran Service Book.

I noticed that Bruce Cameron edited the volume. He was the editor who told me I could never publish through Concordia Publishing House because I contributed to Christian News. That was funny, because Jack Preus and Ralph Bohlmann and Al Berry became synod president by working with, flattering, and coaching Herman Otten. Matt the Fatt did the same later, ending with calling Herman a crazy liar.

Matt the Fatt earned his title by running old photos of himself 50 pounds lighter while eating like it was becoming obsolete.

The Roman Catholic Christian Brothers will take over Concordia College NY via its nearby Iona College. ELCA was closing colleges a long time ago, and they are big in the Eastern seaboard states.

Harrison also sold the LCMS college in Selma and a Chinese property.

Paul served as a pastor in Iowa, senior assistant to LCMS President A.L. Barry, and was serving as the Publisher at our Concordia Publishing House. Funeral arrangements are pending. The Lord blessed Paul with a passionate zeal for the Gospel as taught in the Scriptures and confessed in the Book of Concord. Join us in prayer for Paul’s wife and children, and his CPH family. A reader sent me this Gottesdienst link, suggesting the comments were more interesting than the article. I was going to write about preaching today, so this sparked my interest.

The Lutheran Hymnal remains the best Christian hymnal around - so they got rid of it.

The historic liturgy was well done, so they dumped it, adopted feminist woke language, then switched to cringy entertainment sneaker services.

The King James Version is the only translation based on the precision of Luther's Bible and the traditional text, so the wise guys of Lutherdom switched the anti-Lutheran RSV, NIV, ESV - which embrace the fraud and deceit of Seminex.

The Chief Article of Christianity was officially taught in the LCMS-WELS, so the leaders like McCain, Harrison, Valleskey, Bivens got rid of it entirely and now punish anyone who teaches Justification by Faith. They make shunning look like a party invitation - in love, of course.

Lutheran outreach worked well because faith mattered, so they replaced that - in the name of growth - with business methods, marketing, and gigantic costs for nothing.

Luther was and remains the greatest Biblical teacher of all time, so they treated the Reformation's 500th anniversary like Fri-YAY on QVC and sold Here I Stand socks.

Seminary education is not for learning Greek, Hebrew, Homiletics, and German - as it was at Gettysburg long ago - but about making sure every graduate is an anti-Lutheran, woke, synod-worshiping drone.

 The nuns taught Paul trigger-nometry and Romanism, but not spelling, so he became an editor at CPH.

 They have truly lived off the fat of the land.

"Sad we have to find out these kind of details from secular news agencies rather than the church body we belong to together.

The Oregonian has been digging into the closing of Concordia, Portland. There is much to be gained from their recent article. Here are some basic summary points:

-We got into deals that did not help us (Hotchalk sounds like a major ripoff).
-Administration apparently hid details (from the looks there were few people who knew details of agreements and so forth). This does not include Pres. Ries who just took over in January.
-We tried to make our college just like any worldly endeavor, with high salaries (for administrators, not teachers) and so forth. Pres. Schlimpert went from 175K a year in 2010 to 310K in 2017. He retired just a while ago, and according to the news article he did so with the financial state of the college in poor shape and a long-term contract only going worse for the college.

Given the lack of information available in minutes (not to mention how long it takes to get official minutes) perhaps “executive session” usage should be lessened across synod’s boards, councils, and commissions.

According to the article, this was years in the making. Why didn’t the 2016 and 2019 Conventions of the LCMS bring synod up to speed? The general message of those conventions when I attended them was something close to “everything is good”. A review needs to be done on how the LCMS is using its communications and what information is being communicated vs. what information is not.

How many other Concordias have made bad deals and are operating in such a worldly fashion? We won’t find out because the LCMS has a track record of not telling us bad news or something that will reflect poorly on the institution. Maybe some individual Concordias can show leadership on this (after all, with two Concordias closing in the last few years, it’s not like continuing the status quo will build more confidence in their long term viability). Maybe some districts could show the greater synod what transparency looks like. No one can offer real help unless they know the real problems we are having. Somewhere along the way, it seems we lost some integrity for the sake of positive spin and advertising. Or maybe we’ve just become incompetent to handle these things. It’s a sad tale, and I am just waiting for the next chapter to unfold. Too bad it will take the world’s media to get us information like this Oregonian article provided."
