Tim Glende - WELS - Gets Another Call.
Has Uncle Brug Lost His Clout?

Glende's first call in Illinois led to him selling off a debt-free congregation and leaving an almost-built coffee bar church, so he erased two church buildings in only a few years. So WELS sent him to one of their biggest congregations.

You might say Glende's very first church is orthodox, Eastern Orthodox now.

Glende and Ski actually wore these bibs when traveling to see the great Mark Driscoll, another church wrecker.

 Isn't it rich?
Isn't it queer?
Losing my timing this late
In my career.
Where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns
Well, maybe next year.

Above - Glende and Ski bought a failed bar and kept the beer/wine license. Hmm.

 KJV Proverbs 7:22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

A Baptist church bought the second building that Glende abandoned in Illinois. They know more about justification than Glende, who takes after Mark Jeske, his mentor.

Don't you love a farce?

My fault, I fear

I thought that you'd want what I want

Sorry my dear.

But where are the clowns?

Send in the clowns

Don't bother

They're here.

S.O.S. - Same Old Style from WELS - 2010 Resignation from MIchigan Lutheran Sem Prep School

GJ - Please do not try to fool an information maven. The official story is not true. WELS is so used to lying that the officials think they can fool an entire synod. WELS Pastor Aaron Frey was asked in doctrine class at MLS about how far one could go sexually. He said, "As far as your conscience allows." That was several weeks ago. An uproar followed, which climaxed in his resignation.

Since the DP was leading the chapel service when the announcement was made, some might conclude (as I did) that some high-level meeting took place that morning. Mrs. I did not believe the story. I asked various sources about what happened, and their utter silence told me it was something.

WELS leaders have used the burn-out excuse too often to be believed. That is how they finessed the Michigan District VP from a congregation to director of a WELS nursing home, with the previous DP lying to beat the band. When that district VP was exposed as an adulterer, one of his members--a student at MLS--decided not to be a pastor.

LPR in Columbus was a collection of lies and slander.

"For the good of the ministry" means something bad happened, and now we know. Perhaps WELS pastors and leaders should stop deceiving people, for the good of the ministry. Do they expect people to believe them the next time?

excerpt:
Recently, Wisconsin mandated a sex education curriculum that required teachers to teach about condoms and other forms of birth control. Sounds pretty straight-forward, right? It would have been, but last week, a D.A. named Scott Southworth announced that teachers who followed this law, could end up in jail for breaking another: namely, contributing to the delinquency of minors.

The classes also must inform students that teenagers who have sex can wind up on the state's sex offender registry because sex with children 16 or younger is a crime.

President Frey Resigns

Below is a letter by Vice President William Zeiger regarding this morning's announcement by President Aaron Frey to resign. Please keep Pres. Frey, his family, MLS and our Synod in your prayers.

Dear Friends of Michigan Lutheran Seminary,

Yesterday, Pres. Aaron Frey informed our MLS Governing Board Chairman, Pastor George Ferch, and me that he was resigning his call as president of Michigan Lutheran Seminary for the good of the ministry.

This news was announced to our student body and faculty following our chapel service this morning by Pastor John Seifert, the president of our Michigan District. Pastor Seifert is an advisory member of our governing board.

While this resignation is unexpected, we are already making the necessary adjustments to our school’s program. Pastor Ferch will be calling each of the governing board members today to inform them of the news. The board meets in New Ulm, Minnesota, next week Friday. At that meeting the board will appoint an acting president and begin the calling process to fill the vacancy in the president’s office.

Pres. Frey’s teaching assignment of Doctrine 12 will be taken over by Instructor Andrew Naumann, who taught the course last year following Pres. Prange’s departure. We will have to make some other small adjustments to the academic schedule to accommodate this change, but they will be insignificant.

Vacancies in ministry can be unsettling. At the same time MLS has had experience in its recent history of continuing its important ministry very well in times of vacancy in the administration, faculty, and staff of our school. The Lord has blessed MLS with capable men and women who will pick up the work that needs to be done and to do it well. They have done it in the past, and they will meet this new challenge with the same ability and service now. They will do it as they serve our students, our special ministry at MLS, and their Lord and Savior.

I encourage you to keep the needs of MLS in your prayers, as well as Pastor Frey and his family as they face changes in their life.

In our Savior’s service,
William Zeiger, Ph.D.
Vice President

GJ - I have an official source saying that Aaron Frey could not take the strain of trying to keep the school going during such dire financial straits. I am sorry to hear that. Such stories were common about stress and overwork in the past, and they include F. Pieper and Walther as well. People used to go to Europe to rest and recover. We have different names for it but similar symptoms today. <--Note that the "burn-out" alibi only worked for a few hours.

People should keep Pastor Frey and his family in their prayers. Doubtless he wanted to turn the school around and honor the family name. <--Teaching the fornication philosophy of SIECUS is not God-pleasing, so why pay $8,200 per year to hear to hear it from a Lutheran pastor?

WELS has tried to be a big denomination for too long. A few people have convinced big donors that showcase projects like LPR (Zehms, Stolzenburg) in Columbus or The CORE (Glende, Ski) in Appleton would change everything. They have only proven how soon a fool and his money are parted. The Schwan Foundation has been as effective as the Obama stimulus package, good for a few people, bad for the rest.

Schools devour money. Ask anyone who has one of last remaining church schools. Benefits cost a fortune. Buildings have to be fed and watered like farm animals. "We are going to hold a candy sale to cover the cost of refinishing the gym floor." It never ends.

  • How many schools would like to have the $15 million devoured by Thoughts of Faith?

  • The $500,000 recently devoured by The SORE? (My estimate. They started off spending $250,000, just to get started. Meanwhile, I broadcast all over the world with a $100 camera and a computer I could have found dumpster diving.)

  • The entire sum spend on the latest world mission venture, where a few people are send to a new mission area, using up a lot of money to dabble in mission work there?

  • There is the old story of the monkey and the peas. He wanted to hold onto more and more, so he dropped all of them at once.

In this day of instant communication, the old system of ecclesiastical lying is falling apart. WELS used to be able to encapsulate a scandal, such as the time a female staffer at MLS was servicing the male students, or when another staffer was robbing them blind and livin' high on the hog.

When will they learn? Lying encourages the unrepentant, who know the bigger the scandal, the greater the smokescreen. Lying also discourages faithful Christians who think a privately owned, clergy-run school is a safe alternative to the public education system.

    ---

    Glende's Fake-O-Bod defends the lies:

    SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2010

Dr. Gregory Jackson's Report about MLS Pres. Frey
Friday it was announced that Pres. Aaron Frey of Michigan Lutheran Seminary, the WELS high school in Saginaw, Michigan, resigned "for the good of the ministry." MLS provided an official letter on its website from Dr. William Zeiger.

Dr. Jackson couldn't wait to report the news on his gossip blog, Ichabod, the Glory Has Departed. Unfortunately, he had to add his own personal comments based on some secret source of his in Michigan. This is what Dr. Jackson wrote, "I have an official source saying that Aaron Frey could not take the strain of trying to keep the school going during such dire financial straits." Dr. Jackson criticizes others for not quoting their sources, but he does the same thing!

Today, Saturday, September 18, Greg Jackson wrote on his blog, "Please do not try to fool an information maven. The official story is not true. WELS is so used to lying that the officials think they can fool an entire synod." He then proceeded to report the so-called "real" reason for Pres. Frey's resignation.

There was no "official" reason publicly given for Pres. Frey's resignation. Jackson simply stated that a source of his reported Frey resigned because of burnout. The next thing Jackson does is accuse the WELS of lying. No official report or news release was made by the WELS, MLS or anyone else. Dr. Jackson, from what we can tell, made up what his original source said, and then he turned around and accused the WELS of lying.

It should be obvious to anyone with half a brain that the WELS is not the entity that lied here. Dr. Jackson is telling lies, and then he blames someone else for his personal untruthfulness. But that's nothing new for Dr. Jackson, is it?

GJ - Ski and Glende are the fruit of MLS, so I knew the Appleton fake blog would jump on this. They are daily readers of Ichabod, when they are not copying Groeschel into their sermon files or blocking Google access to my ruminations about Fox Valley apostasy.

I should name my sources so a fake, anonymous blog from plagiarists can lead the way in sliming a new set of victims? Church and Money Changers are so transparent.

Cease and desist, Tim and Ski. The school, faculty, and parents know the truth, if they spend a few seconds asking some questions. This has been brewing for several weeks.

I am confident in my story, my sources, and the truth - as distinguished from the smokescreen being laid down.

Ta-ta. I actually write my sermons. Right now I am studying Luther so I have no time for the aging, balding, blubbery juveniles of The SORE.

    ---

    The Official WELS Denial:

Rev. Aaron Frey announced Sept. 17 that, effective immediately, he is resigning as president of Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) in Saginaw, one of two preparatory high schools operated by the synod.

In a letter from Frey read to students and faculty by Rev. John Seifert, president of the Michigan District, Frey states: "It is with deep sadness that I must tender to you my resignation as the president of Michigan Lutheran Seminary for the good of the ministry at our beloved synodical preparatory school." Seifert, who counseled with Frey, says, "He has not disqualified himself from serving in the public ministry, and he did not have to resign."

Frey had been serving as president of MLS since February after serving since July 2006 as pastor at Emanuel in Tawas City, Mich.

The governing board of MLS meets in New Ulm, Minn., Sept. 24. At that meeting the board will appoint an acting president and begin the calling process to fill the vacancy in the president's office.

William Zeiger, vice president of MLS, in a separate letter to students and faculty writes: "Vacancies in ministry can be unsettling. At the same time MLS has had experience in its recent history of continuing its important ministry very well in times of vacancy in the administration, faculty, and staff of our school. The Lord has blessed MLS with capable men and women who will pick up the work that needs to be done and to do it well."

Both Zeiger and Seifert are asking the synod to keep Frey and his family in their prayers.

Ski Evacuates to Appleton - Church and Change Board Member.
    From 2008

"Appleton? Is that, like, near anywhere?"
Drive 08 Conference "Who went that you might know:
Pastor Ski, John Parlow, Jim Buske"

    Ski:

What is Drive ’08? That’s a great question. Drive is a two day conference for church leaders. During these two days church leaders from the three North Point campuses will share what they have learned over the last twelve years about creating and maintaining awesome ministry environments. The entire conference has been designed around questions from churches all over the world.

Over the two days Andy Stanley (Lead Pastor at North Point) will address the attendees in three main sessions. There will be five break-out sessions that will revolve around questions asked by the attendees. These sessions allow those in attendance to get pretty specific on certain areas of ministry as well as get great feedback.

I invite you to check out my blog while I’m gone. I’ll try to update the blog daily and share what I’ve learned. Please feel free to share your comments.

I’ll see you all when I get back!

After we registered we headed to the 5 Seasons for lunch. While we were there we heard this voice behind us at a table. Well, we turn around and sure enough there at the table is my old German teacher, Prof. Daniel Deutschlander sitting & eating bratwurst & drinking a beer. As it turns out he is speaking at the Peachtree Conference (I think that is what it is called - WELS churches in the ATL - Tennesee - Alabama area). He asked if we were down for his presentation. I had to say unfortunately, no. The conversation was pretty interesting after that. I mean, telling your old prof. that you are in town, not to hear him is bad enough, but on top of that you are in town to attend a non-denominational church leadership conference... Not normal WELS practice. By the way, he’s drinking a Maibock in the picture.

Breakout Session #3 - Connecting Adults To Small Groups

This session was lead (sic) by Jenny Boyett. She is in charge of Group Link, which is one of the Small Group programs at North Point. This was a pretty good session. I guess I was looking for more of a how to instead of this is what we do or this might work for you. Most of the information that was shared was theory. They have three types of groups.

Deep thoughts about food - from Ski.

Main Session #2 - Andy Stanley - Becoming A Great Staff

This was just awesome. The opening music could be confused with a rock concert. Lights, guitars, confetti, etc... The staff also ran through the aisles and threw out blow up guitars and microphones for the audience. I used the word audience, simply because congregation sounded kind of weird. To me what was interesting about the opening music portion, was it goes against everything that I have been taught as a Lutheran. We are called to put our emotions in a box. To not be emotional about the music, unless it is a moving hymn. This is tough, I mean, I may not be jumping around with my hands up, but should I look down on someone who does? Is their worship any less acceptable to God? I don’t think so. Maybe, we need to look at this, emotions are good as long as they don’t get out of control. I think that sometimes we also put down music because it is a repeating chorus and doesn’t have the depth of a hymn. Do we always need to do that? Can’t we have different kinds of music? Isn’t there a danger in saying that there is only one way to do things? I personally like variety. Think about it like this, Cherios (sic) are good, I like them, they are nutritious, they are good with or without milk. But let me tell you, I love Fruity Pebbles. They are colorful, tasty, & packed with sugar. Does that mean that I want to eat them every day? Probably not, but it doesn’t automatically mean that I want Cherios (sic) every day either. Maybe some days i want Frosted Flakes. I like variety.

Anyway, Andy’s session was great. Like I have said. He has this great gift of making things seem so simple. Here are his main points from this afternoon:

1.A great staff is made up of “great leaders.”

2.Best practices for creating a “great staff.”

a.Do for one when you can’t do for all.

b.Systemize (sic? - may be a new CG word) top down service.

c.In response to your staff’s key objectives, ask “How can I help you?”

    d.Create & maintain a sustainable pace.

e.Celebrate & reward greatness when you see it.

3.Signs that things aren’t so great.

    a.Competition between departments.

    b.Double standards.

    c.Loyalty lectures.

This was great just to hear & to have to look at our ministry and ask the question, “Do we have issues here?” I think that overall we do pretty well. Are there areas that we can improve? Of course.

    Andy Stanley
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Andy Stanley is the senior pastor of North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, and Browns Bridge Community Church. He also founded North Point Ministries, which is a worldwide Christian organization.

    Biography
Stanley was born in 1958. His father is Charles Stanley, who is the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and founder of InTouch Ministries.

    ***

GJ - Andy Stanley's books are sold at Fuller Seminary. His daddy divorced his mom but stayed in the ministry. Charles Stanley was in the tank with Paul Y. Cho decades ago. This father-son duo is Baptist and awesomely Church Growth. They will blow you away. Sorry, I read the blog too long and my mind began degenerating.

A few people think I am too pessimistic about WELS. A Wisconsin sect pastor flies to Atlanta, where he might listen to a faithful Lutheran--Dan Deutschlander--but instead listens to a CGM Baptist minister and loves it. How cool is that? And he really seems to brag about it.

Explore transferable principles that will help you build a church for outsiders to come to and hear truth that makes a difference now and for eternity. Now is the time
to shed ethnic rationalizations, personal preferences, and doomsday attitudes that
are offered as excuses for outreach failures. The truth is the Gospel is timelessly relevant, the church and its representatives may or may not be relevant; the
Gospel is timelessly efficacious, the church and its representatives may or may not be effective. Let’s talk about building ministries that are dangerously
    Christian.

John Parlow serves as the lead pastor at St. Mark in De Pere, WI. St. Mark worships over 1,200 people and is currently building a 25,000 sq. ft. addition for

Katy Perry - The Fave of the Booze Brothers - And Satanism.
Nothing Says Permanent Adolescence Like Their Infatuation

Who took the photos - Bishop Katie?
Perry was modestly dressed, compared to later appearances.

"I'm not Buddhist, I'm not Hindu, I'm not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God."

I have never been a fan of Katy Perry, In fact, the infatuation of the Booze Brothers with her made melook up a few research items about her switch from Gospel singer to  lewd and lascivious behavior,

A reader sent me this link about Katy Perry and satanism, which included the following quote:

Christian gospel singer Natalie Grant walked out of the Grammys after after seeing act after act of rampant sexuality and satan worship and former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron tweeted
Is it just me or are some of the Grammy performances so far seem to be really demonic?? Looks like there is a lot of evil in the world.

    Ask Ski about MariQueen's resume.

We were aware of how Satanism was pushed into children's entertainment almost 40 years ago. A cartoon figure would turn her face and there would be the upside-down star on her cheek -  while she smirked.

The WELS' response to the Book of Concord is antagonism and ignorance. One WELS pastor responded to the idea of studying the Book of Concord this way - "It's boring and irrelevant."

An anti-Confessional church body is always going to succumb to the fads of the day and quickly move on to the next ones. The entertainment industry, where WELS is but a small node, is steeped in Satanism, pan-sexuality, and bestiality.

"We can be friends if you but
    bow down and worship me."

Leslye Will Take You to Court and Refuse To Drop Her Lawsuit -
    To Protect Glende and Ski

    ---

Attorney Rick Techlin described the astonishing behavior of Leslye, Glende, Ski, and another
St. Peter Freedom (WELS) member when a husband told the truth about the illegal behavior of the staff.

The judge dismissed Time Glende's pathetic, whimpering, whining case, but the other three (including Leslye) held out to cause more trouble.

WELS wives - do not bother going to a WELS pastor, circuit pastor, or the District Pope. They will reward the abuser and abuse the victim.

It is called cult behavior. See the biopic on Warren Jeffs for additional details.

Does Anyone Doubt SP Schroeder's Support of Deputy Doug?

Rev. Douglas Engelbrecht, president of the Northern Wisconsin District, is also retiring from the ministry. On June 17, the district elected Rev. Joel Zank to serve as its new district president. Zank, a 1987 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, has served as pastor at Mount Olive, Appleton, Wis., since 1996. In 2011, Zank became the first vice president of the Northern Wisconsin District.

When asked what his advice for the new district presidents would be, Engelbrecht said, with a straight face, “Be extremely patient in dealing with people. Place all of your burdens in the hands of the Lord before you go to sleep each night. Enjoy the opportunity to serve.”

Zank supported Ski. Just remember that.
    ---

WELS noted that each new DP was the first VP previously.
That is a WELS tradition that rewards the toady/hatchet man.

First VP Kuske was voted off the praesidium for his work in the Michigan District and in Columbus Ohio, where Tim Glende the Boy Wonder grew up. Where do you think Tim learned his tactics?

WELS Reaction to Iraq Combat Veteran Typical of the Sect

Ron Ash snatched Tim the Boy Wonder from his Savoy failure,
and soon Wonderboy was senior pastor.
Katy Perry remains unconverted by her Road to Damascus experience with Glende and Ski.
WELS reacted as it always does when someone gets in the way of their corruption, immorality, and unearned arrogance.

As a group, they filed four lawsuits at once, each one without merit. Their argumentation was so ridiculous that the judge dismissed Glende's pathetic whining (two hours worth) - he had no case. The other three, including Ski, knew they had nothing, but they stalled instead of dropping the lawsuits.

Ski really had a lot of nerve showing up in a courtroom. He should have been defending himself for showing porn to his staffmember, talking porn to her, and using disgusting sexual references about a woman who came into the bar/restaurant where they were. One could include drinking on the job, being intoxicated on the job, and Ski's previous court case in Milwaukee, where he had to post an appearance bond.

Glende joined in the abusive behavior. They billed their CORE as a coffee-house ministry but they  made it a bar ministry. How else can one get paid to get hammered? Why not buy a bar with a liquor license and attract the downtown alcoholics?

The CORE's fridge was stocked with beer, which was consumed all day long.

Basic point of law, Ski and Glende - it is not slander if it is true. Simply responding to a request for Ski's future in the ministry is not harassment. Don't ask me - ask the judge. The judge did not need to hear the combat veteran's side of the question. I am told Glende whimpered about "a blog in Arkansas" and got an astonished reaction from the judge.

I would love to claim that only Fox Valley is that bad, or that the Anything Goes District is the only one so corrupt. But no - I experienced the same hate campaigns in Columbus while drunks and adulterers ran the show and led the youth conference. DUI accident? Perfect for Schwan money and foreign missions.

I could describe the experience of others in WELS, which are just the same, but that would expose them to more hatred and slander.

No one wants to stand up for this combat veteran and his wife? Is America so gone on alcohol and recreational drugs that no one has a spine?

The cesspool in question has its district convention this week. I wonder if anyone will speak up.

ELCA seemed to go on and on with no reaction, for 22 years. But they took one vote in 2009, one that necessarily followed everything they had done for the previous decades. Explosion. Over 20% of the synod packed up and left, even the gutless bishops had enough. At least the safely retired and pensioned bishops did.

And WELS, with its nose in the air at all times, still works with ELCA.

WCCA stands for Wisconsin Circuit Court Access (formerly known as CCAP), and is the internet portal for information about Wisconsin court cases.  When someone applies for a job, an apartment, or any important position; every employer, landlord, or inquirer of every denomination checks WCCA.  If your name shows up on WCCA, it could have a profound long-lasting negative effect on your life.  Information on WCCA lasts for decades.  For example, information on a civil lawsuit is available on WCCA for 20 years.
Recently, four WELS church workers brought four almost identical civil lawsuits against a WELS layman.  (See Two WELS Pastors and Four Meritless Lawsuits).  They publicly accused him of harassment, they publicly said he was mentally unbalanced, they publicly said he might have a gun, they publicly implied he might use this alleged gun against them, and they publicly said they were living in fear.  These accusations were made in open court, in a public hearing, and as part of a public record.  Their written accusations remain a part of the public record.  Their cases all appear on WCCA.
The court dismissed all four harassment restraining order petitions.  But WCCA does not really explain why they were dismissed, just that they weredismissed.
So what happens when this young WELS husband, father, and layman goes out to apply for jobs?  What do prospective employers see?  They see four civil lawsuits against him, and not just small-claims court stuff, but harassment restraining order petitions.  Harassment restraining order lawsuits are the sort of cases that usually involve stalking, threats, and/or violence.  How many potential employers would stop right there?  How many potential employers would interpret these public court records to mean that at a minimum this young man is a troublemaker who can not get along with others?
If a potential employer were to dig a little deeper, they could go down to the courthouse, and read the four vicious letters that the church workers filed with the court against this WELS layman.  Each of those letters was a public violation of the Lutheran understanding of the Eight Commandment: each of them twisted every word and action into the worst possible construction, and those disgusting documents are all a matter of public record.  They are all on file at the courthouse.
What else could a potential employer find?  Nothing.  Not a single word of defense from this young man appears in the public record.  That is because during the court case, he never spoke in his own defense.
The court dismissed these WELS pastors’ accusations before the defense presented any evidence.  Why?  To find out, a potential employer would have to read the court transcript.
Some benefactors paid to have the transcript prepared to help defend this young man, so that people could see directly the vacuousness of these WELS pastors’ accusations.  (For example, the pastor’s evidence for threats was that the young layman said, “I will publicly defend my wife because that’s what God demands of me.”  The pastor testified, that was “a very open-ended statement,” thus the pastor was concerned what the young husband would do.  Court transcript, pages 45 & 47.  The pastor’s evidence for the young layman being mentally unbalanced was his pastoral knowledge that the layman had suffered trauma in combat while serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq.  The pastor’s evidence for the layman possibly having a gun was that the layman had served in the U.S. military.  So there was no evidence of any wrongful threats.  There was no evidence of anyone being mentally unbalanced or dangerous.  And there was no evidence that anyone had a gun, as if that should matter anyway).  Because some people paid to have the transcript prepared, now a potential employer could at least go to the courthouse, and read the 80 page transcript of the proceedings.  But realistically, who would do that?
WCCA is society wide, and can destroy a man’s reputation far beyond the WELS.  Who will defend the reputation of our young Christian brother?
Some people tried to discuss this case on a WELS Lutherans Facebook group, but WELS pastor administrators deleted comments and entire threads.  Some WELS pastors have said that discussing this public case on the internet is profoundly wrong because it doesn’t go through the right channels, it aligns one with the tools of the devil, it leads to false rumors, and it hurts Christians because they might lose trust in their WELS pastor.
Unfortunately, this concern is all focused on the WELS, but the WELS does not exist for its own sake.  The good news is not that the WELS is perfect, but rather that Christ is perfect.  The WELS is supposed to be brothers and sisters walking together in truth and repentance, but anytime someone says, “Here is the truth, we need to repent,” the WELS minders shout “No!  You are harming the WELS’ reputation.”
A WELS pastor posted on Facebook that if we post truthful negative things about the WELS on the internet, then we are aligned with the tools of the devil.  However, this is not true Lutheran teaching.  Lutherans don’t believe in a holy WELS Synod, instead we “believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church.”  (Nicene Creed).  He who speaks against the one holy Church is aligned with the devil, but he who exposes sin in the visible church is not aligned with the devil.  It is false teaching to confuse the WELS with the one holy Church.
Further, if talking truthfully on a little WELS Facebook page or blog is communicating with an audience too large, then what does it mean when WELS church workers put undeserved black marks against a WELS layman on WCCA, the Godzilla of reputation destroyers?
Is it the reputations of only WELS pastors that matter?
When these church workers brought their unfounded allegations against this young man to the WCCA and the public court system, they forfeited their claim to privacy.  Even then, all of this could have remained “private” for the sake of the visible church.  However, when the Northern Wisconsin District publicly declared one of the pastors who brought these meritless lawsuits to be “blameless” and “above reproach,” then the District also forfeited its claim to privacy.  The Church calls pastors to the public ministry (Power and Primacy of the Pope, paragraphs 23-24), and the Church is composed of every baptized believer.  Everyone in the WELS is now involved.  Everyone in the WELS should know what is happening.
We need to collectively repent, and make restitution to this young couple we have victimized.  We in the WELS need a genuine culture of repentance.  And the Northern Wisconsin District needs new leadership.  The Church calls and ordains, but the District leadership does it directly for the sake of good order.  If they cannot uphold good order, then the leadership must be removed.
The Northern Wisconsin District convention will be held in Appleton, Wisconsin on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 & 18, 2014 A.D.
    Kyrie eleison.

    Evidence of abuse:

Why this is not surprising to me:
    http://www.reveal.org/development/Churches_that_Ab use.pdf

    http://www.reveal.org/development/Recovering_from_ Churches_that_Abuse.pdf

There are denominations out there which have recognized abuse and have taken steps to resolve it. I am waiting for the WELS do to do the same with this case.

One survey indicated 3.1% of churchgoing, adult women have been the target of unwanted clergy sexual misconduct. I personally know one of them. She was very angry.

    Here is the study:
    http://www.baylor.edu/content/services/document.ph p/96038.pdf

Back when I was in school, one of our newer female teachers decided not to be a teacher any more after enduring repeated sexual comments from another teacher who was much older and married. This was an LCMS Lutheran school. She finally complained to her students, including me.

1 out of 24 WELS pastors (4.2%) in a survey published in 1998 admitted to clergy sexual misconduct. The percentage was similar to that for the LCMS, (5 out of 117, or 4.3%).

The federal government is currently investigating an ELCA college, Wittenberg University, over concern that they are covering up or discouraging the reporting of rape or sexual harassment type cases.

When you see leaders standing up for sexual misconduct by clergy against females, that indicates a broader cultural problem.

The behavior of James Skorzewski and Timothy Glende, as seen in the excerpts from "Two WELS Pastors and Four Meritless Lawsuits," fits the operative word, "sleaze."

Here's James Skorzewski with Mariqueen, a Playboy model and member of a 'music' band, "How to Destroy Angels." Sadly the sleaze is now in Texas.

"I am waiting for the WELS do to do the same with this case."

"Sadly the sleaze is now in Texas."

I believe the WELS has resolved it in their usual fashion.

There is a strain of antinomianism that runs through the WELS that has been perpetuated by a warped view of Objective Justification. It has manifested itself in the South Central District of the WELS.
