Yes, Having Fun and Discussing Doctrine - Fun and Edifying

I had one of the most delightful days at Sleepy Eye.

1. Several of us changed the gathering place downstairs into a larger and talkative group before we walked over to the cafeteria meeting room. Earlier only four would sit there downstairs and wait. I put men on one end of the comfortable chairs and let the women talk together. We went from four in that area to nine, and the ladies loved it. (Yes, men clog and stop conversation.)

2. The sheepshead group agreed that people could gather with the women talking in a group and a little more of the men separate. That was an instant success. That group had a 90 and 80's. 

3. A server wanted to give my close friend a double soup. I began with making my friend the head of the Captain's Table, which means the Captain is the boss. He did not get the Captain's prestige at once but someone got the server to be milder. The Captain was very pleased. The key is not being the boss, just being a side-kick for the boss. After the meal we talked an hour at that table, with everyone else gone.

4. One man is 99 years old and still dances.

We are enjoying the brisk wind but not so much snowfall. One exit door had this sign - "Do not open this door!" I repeated that warning in another area - lots of laugh. It is minus five.

The Internet crashed first thing but came back. That makes me wonder when it will happen again.

Since people wonder - I am having a great time with a lot of people. A group of us gather before lunch and have a good time comparing various things, from the DairyQueen party here (great timing?) and cards and local history. Sleepy Eye has a number of WWII veterans, one who is 99 years old and still lively. 

I sat down at the local history meeting and the leader asked about my background. "Write any books?" I told him an approximate number. He and his best friends of the area had a great time reciting the memories of their earlier times down to high school events.

I get asked about how I landed here. Since a lot of the residents are from Sleepy Eye, I explain my years living in New Ulm, not far away. That makes me more of a local.

My health is quite good, but my memory is uncertain. This allows continuing work with the Gospels. 

Bethany Lutheran Church began in New Ulm, in 1997. We used a special phone at our home-made chapel in New Ulm to reach others. 

Later we were invited to a congregation forming in Phoenix. Bella Vista came later.

Many books and blogs were distributed. The efficacious Word and Sacraments continues.

why are all these false teachers separated brethren?

Mayhew's father-in-law is Paul Tiefel, a stand out false teacher in the CLC (sic). Redlin said of him and Koenig, "They are always getting into trouble and never listen to anyone."

At the 15 minute mark, this Church of the Lutheran Confession (sic) pastor teaches Universal Objective Justification - Universal Grace (Calvinism) - and Judas Iscariot forgiven in Hell.

"Judas is in Hell with his sins forgiven." How is that possible? Because of Objective Justification!

Old Doc Mayo was involved to some extent in the Indian war there.

These yahoos are always yawping about Justification by Faith being Calvinism. However, Calvin taught Universal Grace.

He tries to say that Subjective Justification is Personal Justification, which is faith. However, that is wrong according to Walther, JP Meyer, and other false prophets. They make Subjective Justification a decision to accept Universal Absolution without faith.

The evidence -

 You must accept the general absolution of the world.

UOJ and Church Growth are bosom buddies, as Valleskey has proven, but figs do not grow on thistles, and the Israelites did not steal the Egyptian garbage.

Make a decision, accept or decline!

This so-called Bible study is nothing but a collection of rationalistic claims without Biblical evidence. The pastor stumbles into Calvinism and condemns the very dogma he finds in the Geneva Reformer.

 Gather these UOJ robots into a unified sect where they can go down together in peace and harmony.
