Rogue Lutheran Explains UOJ as Toxic

Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary labels this "misleading."
And they love the New NIV.

Rogue Lutheran:

Just my opinion, but here goes………

Essentially you have the same thing going on in Luthertown that you do with the financial system----toxic derivatives (ex. credit default swaps, negotiable fiat financial instruments).

UOJ is a derivative, it’s a latecomer; the facts and the record to support that statement speak for themselves, documented in detail at your site.

Lutherans are too trusting and programmed to be gullible, they rely on the interpreter class for clarification.  So, what happens when the interpretation is wrong?

Well, the interpreter class is very circumspect when dealing with each other rather than the laity. Probably, this sort of thing is take care of behind the scenes with a velvet hammer phone call.

But Rydecki produced a valid and public argument that challenged the omni-competent Curia's power, with predictable results.

And another  axiom out of the Book of Conditions is that interpreter class is ALWAYS going to interpret things to enhance their status, it’s the pathological nature of the hierarchy.

"Do not threaten the interpreter class’s power", and isn’t that what this is all about—spiritual power, like bending a person’s will to do your bidding?

JBFA is not taught because the interpreter class doesn’t like it, but wants you to follow them, or wants to control you .

In American Lutheran synods  (basically generic Protestantism),  UOJ is more negotiable and that in turn opens a whole big Pandora’s box about, who screwed up way back when and exposing ever present problem of  toadie pastors and wagon wall academics.

And that leads to a re-examining that Walther character,  his Old World Pietist baggage—it goes on and on......

So throw up your hands, yikes it’s too hard and “I’ll be gone-You’ll be gone” headache rolls in…….

The pathological nature of the hierarchy shows up well in the Walther-Stephan episode - and Lutherans are still living with the consequences of same, a multi-generational cover-up.

Hastily written but sincerely yours,

RL

Churchmouse Campanologist - ChurchMouse and Rogue Lutheran on Financial Markets

Churchmouse Campanologist:

'via Blog this'

My thanks to Rogue Lutheran who wrote in last week with links to a story with which I was unfamiliar but had been wondering about.
For over 15 years, I have pondered how our global economy puts so much emphasis on trading newish financial instruments such as derivatives, collateralised debt obligations and credit default swaps.  Yes, they make big money, but whatever happened to simpler trades of commodities or foreign exchange rates — what used to be known as ‘speculation’ — and was something that most people could understand?
The next two posts will explore this phenomenon
