Intrepid Lutherans Will Erase All Files - Confirmed

The help desk at Intrepid Lutherans has confirmed that they will erase all files, so back up the essays and comments you like.

Soon I will get an email - "I told you we were keeping the site, that we are NOT deleting the files."

In WELS, a denial is the surest form of confirmation.

And they never know anything, which makes me wonder how SP Schroeder can pretend to know everything and yet not know his PR director was distributing man-boy porn a few feet away.

And - any pastoral stance is subject to an instant 180 degree change. I told one pastor - "If you want a friend in WELS, buy a dog." A WELS pastor who agrees with you is the same Quisling who will run to the DP, report all your information, and grease your exit.

Needless to say, on the Intrepid Lutherans blog,  justification by faith was finally getting a forum for discussion in WELS, and Jon-Boy Buchholz was not going to tolerate anyone denying of his infallibility. That is why he kicked Pastor Paul Rydecki out of WELS, kicked the congregation out, and immediately foreclosed on the mortgage. Moreover, Buchie bragged about the foreclosure at the very pastors' conference where he promised the congregation that they would discuss justification by faith.

Buchholz is in great demand for his dogma. He solemnly declared his farrago of false doctrine at the Anything Goes District meeting. Who else could back up Engelbrecht's combination of legalism and Antinomianism? Who else could marshal the collected wisdom of Jay Webber and Warren Maloch?

Here is some tidbits about the Thrivent sales pitches in the district, although they fail to say the Planned Giving Counselors (sic) are licensed insurance agents working for a commission:

July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014 – The Northwoods Conference is my “focus conference.” These
congregations are encouraged to schedule a Christian estate planning Thrivent Insurance sales seminar during this time so that I can visit several families from conference congregations in one day. About 18 congregations can be served each year. Any congregation in the Northern Wisconsin district is invited to schedule a Christian estate planning seminar anytime. Presently fall 2013-spring 2014 is filled but fall 2014-spring 2015 is open.

To Schedule a Christian Estate Planning Seminar
Ideally, a congregation needs at least an eight week lead time to host a Christian estate planning
seminar. I’m happy to speak to your Board of Stewardship/Council about a seminar, or setting up an
endowment and/or a planned giving committee. I’m also available to preach the day of a seminar.

Abandon Justification by Faith - For the Reformation
Quitting a doctrinal effort is the best way for WELS laity and pastors to celebrate the Reformation. So many were viewing the discussions that the Jeske Management Team was alarmed.

No one should marvel that Engelbrecht, Glende, Ski, and Lillo were the guys trumpeting UOJ, Emergent Church, and the sanctified use of plagiarism. As a college teacher, I know how pervasive plagiarism is, but how many church leaders like Deputy Doug write papers defending it?

I keep waiting for WELS to reach the bottom of the barrel. Jeff Gunn is in the bosom of Abraham (Buchie). Ski is in the bosom of Engelbrecht. WELS approves the NNIV without voting on it.

Luther's Large Catechism, Second Commandment
54] But, the greatest abuse occurs in spiritual matters, which pertain to the conscience, when false preachers rise up and offer their lying vanities as God's Word.

55] Behold, all this is decking one's self out with God's name, or making a pretty show, or claiming to be right, whether it occur in gross, worldly business or in sublime, subtle matters of faith and doctrine. And among liars belong also blasphemers, not alone the very gross, well known to every one, who disgrace God's name without fear (these are not for us, but for the hangman to discipline); but also those who publicly traduce the truth and God's Word and consign it to the devil. Of this there is no need now to speak further.

The DPs are making a big mistake in closing down the Intrepids. That was a good way to vent without effect. Christian News has served the same purpose, and it used to be a handy way to identify dissent and manipulate it.

Following is one of the greatest statements made by Luther, and it centers on the climax of the Beatitudes (Be Happy Attitudes, according to Robert Schuller):

This is the ultimate irony in the preaching of Jesus, which Martin Luther captured so well in this comment. The very cross that vexes us is confirmation of doing God's will.

They silenced you? Good job.

They pushed you out for agreeing with St. Paul, Luther, and the Book of Concord? Well done.

The leaders have spread the most obnoxious lies about you? That is the job of the DPs and SP. They are not there to promote Biblical truth, but to maintain Holy Mother Sect.

Clearly, earning the approval of the District Pimps and the Synodical Pimp is not God-pleasing.

Protecting the abusive sect may promise security and peace, but the abusers are quick to toss out their tools when they are done with them.

If  you do not think God will protect you, help you, and guide you in every good purpose, then you are worshiping a false god, in violation of the First Commandment (Large Catechism, Book of Concord).
