We were going to change phone numbers, but decided to try to move it to the fiber optic phone when that is installed. So that will continue to be our phone number (ending in 0066). We intend to downgrade the geezer phone to low minutes, which will save money and give us two numbers to use when needed (seldom).

Worship Services and Greek Schedule

Thanksgiving Eve. 7 PM Wednesday night

Mid-week Services on Thursday at 7 PM - Greek After
The first Mid-week Advent service will be Thursday, November 29th, 7 PM - followed by Greek class. We will do a Greek intro and refresher after each Advent midweek service. Thursdays allow more pastors to attend the Greek class live.

Anyone new to Greek should get Paine's book - linked here. Order now. We will start on John 1 and move to 1 John (sounds like Q?). This helps keep people fresh on Greek until we have a long series in 2018. Gospel of Mark?

The Plan of This Book – Let John’s Gospel Speak

Our streaming video series on the Fourth Gospel in Greek caused people to ask for a book similar to the classes, where I explained the verses as we translated. We already have the large, excellent commentary by Lenski on John, and brilliant sermons by Luther on the Fourth Gospel.

I wanted to let the Scriptures speak for themselves, as much as possible, so brief comments follow passages, much like the class. I have taught Romans in Greek, the same way. More streaming classes and books may follow.

The best teacher is the Holy Spirit, who teaches us from the inerrant Word of God. The more time we spend with the Word itself, the more we understand and hear its message.

Luther doesn’t seem to go along with the 21st Century Lutherans who eschew the words, “Justification by FAITH”, always replacing them with, “Justification BY GRACE (through faith).”

“Thy faith hath made thee whole,” He says to the Samaritan who had been a leper. He does not give honor to Himself, else He would have said, I have helped thee; but He gives faith the praise.

Thereby He wishes to induce us, according to this example, to have full confidence in God, and to be sure that We shall obtain in Christ Jesus what we believe. If we believe that we have forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Christ, we shall have it. If we believe that God will be gracious and merciful unto us for Christ’s sake, He will be gracious and merciful unto us.

Therefore all shall be ascribed to faith, not unto God, though upon Him everything depends. And we all should perceive, that if we do not obtain that which we desire and need, it is not the fault of God that we do not obtain it, but the fault of our unbelief; for if we were strong in faith, we surely should obtain it.

 Agreed, and WELS-ELS-LCMS-ELCA teach the false gospel of UOJ.

I Heartily Agree with WELS about This - Do They Know Their Published Words Condemn Them?

 How devious, to cite and quote Luther in order to repudiate his Biblical teaching and replace it with the dogma of Halle Pietism. But we can use the words of Luther to demolish Valleskey, Zarling, Otten, Scaer, Webber, and Rolfie One-Note.

 I agree with everything Luther wrote. Now let us apply it.

As I have shown, with the help of WELS, Missouri, and the Little Sect on the Prairie, these clowns have attacked and replaced Justification by Faith with the Stephan-Walther dogma of God declaring the entire world, every single person, righteous - without faith, without the efficacious Word. without the Means of Grace.

 Walther was a pimp and enforcer for a notorious self-made bishop, and  CFW robbed the poor guy of his land, gold, books, and dogma. That makes CFW Walther, BA, a regular genius in the LCMS. Who needs Luther?

Everything has fallen, says Valleskey agreeing with Luther: "When the article of justification has fallen, everything has fallen."

• Worship is an abomination, entertainment designed to attract seekers. "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”
• Evangelism is a stew of marketing and sociology. Jesus died for your demographic, for your felt needs.  "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”
• The Gospel is not presented as trusting in the Atonement of Jesus, but the whole world already declared righteous, absent any Biblical statement.  "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”
• Paul is turned into a Universalist who contradicts himself, through the Holy Spirit, between Romans 4:24 and 4:25, between Romans 5:1-2 and the rest of Chapter 5.  "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”
• The creeds are often replaced with something made up, something more real, relevant, and relational.  "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”
• Their lupine fangs dripping with the blood of the lambs, the Mordor faculty turns to promoting the Universalist, feminist NIV faux-Bible.  "Of this article nothing may be yielded or conceded.”

WELS-ELS-ELCA-LCMS Dogma Is Death and Darkness, Says Zarling, agreeing with Luther.

1. WELS-ELS-ELCA-LCMS only teaches the opposite of Justification by Faith. "The article of justification is the master and prince, the lord, the ruler, and the judge over all kinds of doctrines."
2. The Lutheran synods made a mockery of the Reformation's 500th Anniversary, releasing OJ-SJ catechisms, dogmatics, and other flotsam. "The article of justification is the master and prince, the lord, the ruler, and the judge over all kinds of doctrines."
3. WELS alone has over 60 essays posted, all of them replacing the Chief Article with their dogma of Universalism. "The article of justification is the master and prince, the lord, the ruler, and the judge over all kinds of doctrines."
4. ELCA leader and pastor - and publisher of the Left-wing Christian Century - Peter Marty agrees with WELS-ELS-LCMS' Universal Objective Justification. "The article of justification is the master and prince, the lord, the ruler, and the judge over all kinds of doctrines."

WELS members and pastors stood by while the NIV replaced the KJV, while Kuske replaced Gausewitz, while Church Growth! served as the slogan to get in bed with with LCA/ALC/ELCA.
