Making Impeachment Boring

This photo appeared on Q on 12-27-2019, evidence that some members of the Q team ride with the President.

Veterans of the Nixon and Clinton impeachment efforts must find the Trump event tedious and annoying. The most incisive debate involves the Moment of Impeachment (like the Moment of World Absolution without Faith).
  1. Has Trump been impeached by virtue of the vote that passed the House?
  2. If not, since some say it must include sending it to the Senate, will that defect make him non-impeached?
  3. Is the Senate capable of voting on no charges of bribes and treason with no evidence and declaring guilt, given his popularity, a booming economy, promises kept, and a GOP majority?
The answer to these questions - the ending was determined when Durham was appointed and the overt Q drama began. Most of the excitement came earlier - from finding out something was happening and the majority did not realize or acknowledge it.

The end was signaled by several journalists admitting Q existed, though they played dumb for two years. I have seen this two-layered scheme of communication in the synods - one official and widely believed, the other consisting of what people actually know to be true.
  1. That is a lie, a deliberate slander, and you know it.
  2. We are never supposed to talk about it.
Relying on the #2 message means that problems multiply and worsen. Did WELS, Missouri, or the ELS ever admit they spent millions of dollars on Calvinist tricks and stunts, only to lose members faster than ever before? No - they show up at Camp Halle, without blushing, and continue the charade.

No wonder this blog is hated with such timid ferocity.

I predict the success of the Q battle will give the USA another 25 years of peace and prosperity. If people realize this comes from God as a special blessing, unique to America, the golden era can last longer. The almost extinct knowledge of the humanities (literature, history, poetry) in this generation of students can lead us right back into the swamp. Evil never rests.

Christina's oncologist asked me how bad the situation is with reading. He reads constantly, and I never stop. I said this,

"Years ago I brought books of all sorts to the classroom, such as the history of the Oxford English Dictionary. I would bring a pile of books - and young, working adults would take them home - eagerly. They even joined a free raffle for a complete set of Twain. Suddenly, no one - not even my best and brightest students wanted a book, any books."

The doctor looked glum, but that is the truth.

Yale Divinity - Day Mission Library - this has been called the most beautiful library in the world. Only a flinty heart would resist sitting down in this room with a book.

Harkins Tower, Yale - this is for ChurchMouse, Campanologist. The briefest look at his blog will reveal his love of learning, books, the humanities.
