The Calvinist News - aka Christian News - Uses "Efficacy" Seven Times in This Issue!

Cub editor Phil Hale, of the Calvinist News, gets a free control-f test every issue, to see if he can distance himself from the Ladies Home Companion content of the previous ones.

Here are the latest results for the February 3 issue:
  • Control - f - Jackson = No examples, even though I send him free copies of books to review. Luther's Galatians? Phil? Phil? Anyone? Anyone? Walther, the American Calvin? You remember him from the Fort's idolatry class, don't you?
  • Control - f - Justification by Faith  = No examples, even though it is the Chief Article of the Christian Faith. But, of course, it is just a phrase to young Phil.
  • Control - f - Means of Grace = No examples
  • Control - f - efficacy = Seven (7) examples! But efficacy was only involved with the potency of the Covid vaccine.
"Just a phrase," Phil says, "just a phrase."
As the mayor said in The Music Man, "Watch your phraseology, young man!"
