 Start them young and the pastors will know how to have a picnic with the congregation and elders. The little ones put on the make-up, and some of you think the public education system is radical.

 There were great repercussions - Mueller was the main speaker at a conference - soon after.

 Pride Month is every month at WELS schools. This is Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

Episcopal Church Comes Out in Support of Sex Changes ‘at All Ages’

The Episcopal Church passed a resolution in support of sex change attempts “at all ages,” calling it a matter of “religious liberty.”

Resolution D066, passed by the 80th General Convention, is titled “Addressing restrictions on access to gender affirming care.” The House of Bishops has concurred with the resolution.

It calls for the Episcopal Church to “advocate for access to gender affirming care in all forms (social, medical, or any other) and at all ages.” It goes on to say that advocating for sex change operations is “part of our Baptismal call to respect the dignity of every human being.”

The resolution specifically “affirms that all Episcopalians should be able to partake in gender affirming care with no restriction on movement, autonomy, or timing.” The Episcopal Church also opposes laws that prohibit people, including children, from being medically assisted in their attempts to change their sex.

What the Episcopal Church refers to as “gender affirming care” includes medical interventions such as the use of puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy, as well as surgeries that permanently damage fully functioning body parts, or that seek to change one’s face shape.

Breitbart News has documented several instances in which directors of transgender health clinics, some of which are associated with children’s hospitals, have received significant funding from the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture puberty blockers.

Lupron, one of the drugs most commonly used as a puberty blocker, has been used to chemically castrate sex offenders. Meanwhile, puberty blocking drug Supprelin LA has been found to carry the risk of causing brain swelling and permanent vision loss according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The Episcopal Church’s resolution was proposed by Evangeline Warren, a PhD student at Ohio State’s Department of Sociology. Warren has dedicated much of her academic career to racial and sexual topics.

Her master’s thesis is titled “How proximity to whiteness impacts the health of non- white people,” while another paper focuses on “Pseudomedical Crisis Pregnancy Centers”

Brought to you by: Good Kid Productions

The FBI raided former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and found incriminating evidence that he was once President of the United States of America! While they were there they spent over four hours cracking open a solid gold safe.

Here's what they found:

  1. Thousands of McDonald's receipts: Immaculate record keeping!
  2. Three pallets of Norvell Premium Sunless Tanning Solution, Dark 1: Only the best for our President!
  3. World's best president mug: The mug has been detained for questioning.
  4. Barron's Xbox controller because he's grounded from Xbox: This is a relief. We thought he was ghosting us on Xbox Live.
  5. The kickstand for Biden's bike: Sneaky!
  6. Obama's actual birth certificate: Everyone was wrong. He was born in Zap, ND. Weird.
  7. A note that reads "You FBI guys are low IQ. Sad! Not good!": This was found in a safe within a safe.
  8. Free verse, reflective poems: So sensitive!
  9. Several dozen copies of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York: Probably the inspiration for all the booby traps federal agents had to evade.
  10. The actual nuclear codes and not the fake ones he slipped to Biden: Wait a minute, wouldn't the real president have the nuclear codes?
  11. Little tiny shampoos which were stolen from the White House bathroom: Ladies and gentlemen, we got him!
  12. Over a million unsent tweets: Carefully recorded and cataloged on papyrus scrolls.
  13. A signed agreement between Trump and Pence that he would not "mean tweet" Pence: Appears to be scrawled in crayon on a KFC napkin.
  14. The Mirror of Erised: When he looks into it he sees world peace.

I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life

The Upper Room

John 14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I AM in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I AM in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

John 14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

            As Lenski has written, this is the address of Jesus in the Upper Room, concerning their dismay and fears about their Teacher going away. Those who have lost a beloved person can understand the shattering transition from life to death, from a reality of happiness to the dread of grief and sorrow. The suggestion of such a transition overtakes all other thoughts and emotions, a seemingly endless storm. The urging of Jesus to trust in Him and the Father is not a call to faith, but a challenge to apply that faith they have already obtained through His miracles and teaching. Jesus is not leaving them forever but preparing a place for eternal life. Many people want to describe this place, but eternal life transcends anything we can imagine. These two verses summarize the human condition, enjoying life and fearing death, but assuring that Jesus Himself has prepared a place for those who believe in Him, as promised.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

So many alleged scholars have tried to make exceptions and excuses about this passage, which is foundational and true. This is the Gospel from Jesus’ beloved disciple, the Spirit led biography that includes and assumes the previous three Gospels. The Gospel of John also emphasizes essentials of His ministry and His departing sermons. In the Bible, much like today, the words of someone at the end of life are given great attention and preserved for their value.

Doubting Thomas, the patron saint of seminary professors today, has two significant episodes in the Fourth Gospel, both setting up Jesus’ teaching of His divine-human nature. We have the perspective of knowing His resurrection and ascension, but to the disciples, Jesus was a man who walked with them, taught as a rabbi would, performed astounding miracles but still did His work as a flesh and blood man. Jesus’ response includes the Divine Name – I AM. That is essential to recognize in light of what is taught in the Upper Room.

I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Angel of the Lord, Who spoke to Moses from the Burning Bush, gave Thomas, the disciples, and us a three-fold explanation that allows no exceptions, no compromises, no weasel words.

I AM the Way –

A film class at Regent University yielded this nugget of fool’s gold – “All roads lead to God, and all truths are God’s truth.” The professor’s response was “Amen, brother!” Nothing today seems quite as brilliant as equating all religions, all paths of salvation. First of all, the song of Universalism is refuted in four simple words which also hearken to the immortal Word of God – there is only one Way. All the favorite idols of this age shrink in comparison to the great I AM and disappear, because faith in the Son of God excludes truth in pagan religious leaders.

I AM the Truth

Wise men and women seek the truth and often spend decades pursuing those ideals. The banal absurdity of modern religious claims send them to the Scriptures and to faithful teachers to lead them to the pinnacle of Truth in the Book of the Holy Spirit. Thus the Bible remains the Book that judges all books and is not judged by any other publication. True, the modern Bible hucksters want to pollute the Majority Text of the King James Version. However, they only fool a few, in spite of massive expenses in promoting the surfer dude revisions.

The Funny Little Robin.
Yes - Finishing the I AM Sermons from the Gospel of John

I have seven watering places for birds and critters, four in the backyard and three in the front. The third one, new, is a pipe that leads from the AC condenser drip to a clay bowl just below the patio.

During the drought, birds were very anxious to drink and bathe. This one combined desperation with skillful dodging. Robins tend to be anxious, so this one landed on the ground, far to my left but moving around, looking in my eyes for suggestions of human malice. She backed away and came toward me directly but retreated again. Then she went far over to the right and tentatively stepped up to the clay dish, solid and easy for her to perch. She looked anxiously at me one more time and dipped into the water. She was safe.

I will begin regular additions to the I AM sermons in the Gospel of John, starting tonight. My teaching schedule is lower now and includes only the two classes I enjoy most - Old Testament Survey and How To Teach Online.

Doubting Miranda: WELS High school principal accused student of making up sexual harassment claims

"When Miranda Waade was 14 years old, she reported to her high school principal that she’d been sexually harassed and assaulted by two classmates.

Instead of launching an investigation, the principal at West Lutheran High School in Plymouth accused Waade of making the story up, ignored key evidence that supported her claims, and refused to re-enroll the teenager in school the following year, according to internal school documents and police reports obtained by 5 INVESTIGATES.

Records obtained by 5 INVESTIGATES include a text message from one of the male students who harassed Waade, admitting he tried to touch her in a sexual way, a recording of a police interview with the principal and state records that detail how the school failed to follow its policies."

Minnesota Department of Human Rights settles sexual assault lawsuit against Plymouth WELS school

A judge has ordered a Twin Cities Lutheran school to make significant changes to the way it handles allegations of bullying and harassment.

The Minnesota Department of Human Rights sued West Lutheran High School for discrimination and retaliation in 2019, claiming school officials failed to act after a female student had reported she’d been sexually harassed and assaulted by two fellow classmates.

Miranda Waade, 19, told her story to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in October, after 5 INVESTIGATES obtained records that showed the school’s then-principal, Adam Wiechmann, dismissed her story and accused her of making it up.

Doubting Miranda: High school principal accused student of making up sexual harassment claims

The state will have oversight over West Lutheran High School in Plymouth for the next three years as part of a court-ordered consent decree that was approved Thursday.

DHR Commissioner Rebecca Lucero said the comprehensive approach will ensure changes that benefit students.

"I think it sends a really clear message that this should not be tolerated," Lucero said in an interview with 5 INVESTIGATES. "When these things happen, like they do everywhere, students need to make sure they are supported and corrective actions are taken."

The consent decree requires West Lutheran High School to take immediate steps to:

  • Develop, adopt, and publicly distribute written policies, including a social media policy, that address and prevent bullying, harassment and discrimination;
  • Implement a comprehensive protocol for investigating every complaint of harassment, discrimination and retaliation;
  • Require all students, faculty, staff and members of its Board of Regents sign a Code of Conduct Pledge each school year that specifically addresses bullying, harassment and discrimination;
  • Add bullying and harassment as topics to the curriculum for a required class;
  • Train all faculty, staff, students and members of the Board of Regents annually on the school’s obligations to create an environment that is free of discrimination, harassment and bullying;
  • Train all staff and officials responsible for conducting investigations with trauma-informed investigation training; and
  • Report to the Minnesota Department of Human Rights the number of complaints made related to bullying, harassment and discrimination, the steps taken to investigate the complaint, the outcomes of the investigation and other information necessary.

"We want to have an impact here," Lucero said. "We want to make sure these policies and procedures are being implemented and that they are having the intended effect."

The consent decree is in effect for three years. If at any time, West Lutheran fails to follow the requirements in the agreement, Minnesota’s Department of Human Rights is allowed to seek civil penalties and other relief through the court process, under the terms of the agreement.

West Lutheran’s Board of Regents chairman Mark Kaesmeyer, who signed the consent decree on behalf of the school, could not be reached for comment.

Due to a pending civil lawsuit, Miranda Waade and her family declined to comment through their attorney Thursday.
