Ranger Bob came over to borrow a snow-scraper, the second innocent in several days. Tupperware does not do the job.
He said, "Your snow is soft. My driveway is all ice."
I said, "Did you notice the aquamarine-colored salt?"
No answer.
Even the Laotian family left their snow and ice on the driveway.
A few hours after I lightly salted the driveway, half of it was easily scooped to the side. Yes, I took chemistry and physics in high school, so I knew about salt melting snow and moving downhill to keep the magic working. I should have moved to Arkansas. I coulda been someone. I coulda been a contender.
Tomorrow is almost torrid, so the snow-ice will mostly melt away.
