Reformation Seminary - Romans Part 1 - Contributions

YouTube -

1. Romans is the centerpiece of the Reformation. The Roman Catholic opposition tried to support their dogma with the Scriptures and got whipped (Chemnitz, Examination). Romans then stopped using the Biblical foundations.

2. Romans 1:3 - the Two Natures of Christ.

3. Romans 1:26 - The Faithless Five - ELCA-LCMS-WELS-ELS-CLC (sic) support Anything Goes, through Thrivent, and their own investment For This Cause.

4. Romans 2 - basics of the Law.
KJV
5. KJV Romans 3:22ff - The Faith of Jesus.
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
NIV
NIV Romans 3: 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified [all is added from the Greek text]  freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
GJ - This New NIV added the all, which the older NIV did not have.

6. Chapter 4 is dedicated to Abraham as the Father of Faith, transitioning to Romans 5.

7. Romans 5:1-2 completes the argument of Romans 4, Justification by Faith.
