There are currently 38 Lutheran Colleges/Universities in USA.

The ELCA has 26, the LCMS has 7, the ELS, WELS, CLC, and Independent each have 1 each.

Nine of them have an undergraduate enrollment over 2,500.

The top five are: 

1. 3,846 students at Concordia University Wisconsin
2. 3,127 at Concordia University St. Paul
3. 3,072 St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota
4. 2,804 Concordia Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, California
5. 2,737 Valparaiso University

Seven of them have endowments over $150 million

2. $320 million at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA
3. $289 million at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, PA
4. $254 million at Valparaiso University
