LutherQuest is revealing its rapidly increasing failure in LCMS higher education. The Texas situation is a disaster, and so is Michigan.
If I were Matt the Fatt, I would tell Texas, "Go and sin no more!"
As for Michigan - there is always the insolvency issue, because that glowing spark of Enthusiasm has fanned itself into ashes. They could have boosted the baby population decades ago, but now is a bit late.

Valparaiso University is a private university in Valparaiso, Indiana, United States. It is an independent Lutheran university with five colleges. It enrolls nearly 2,300 students and has a 350-acre campus. Wikipedia. Oops, I mean Maypo.
A member said something that should awaken more people - "I hope we can keep this going." That is starting from the top layer downward.
