GJ - Tim Glende coined a new term when he tried to fashion Intuitu Fidei from the booze-soaked memories of his undergraduate education.

Glende charged me, anonymously, with the scandal of Inuitu Fidei - The Faith of the Inuits, or Eskimo. Edward Preuss, of blessed memory, forerunner of those leaving Missouri for Rome, wrote "eskimeaux," my favorite antique term. The Eskimeaux are born forgiven - like the Hottentots, according to Preuss. Can you imagine trekking to their land and explaining how they were already forgiven and saved? And you are starting a mission to convince them of this before joining their ice fishing or being used as a target in the poisoned arrow contest!

His rebuttal was something like, "Just becuz I cant spell..."

Now comes Joe Krohn (that's how lawsuits are worded) to prosecute his case against "In Few of Faith," the funniest quip from  the Objective Justification salesmen this week. I waited for an edit, in case the LQ beehive noticed. They did not correct Joe's hilarious error.

LQ likes to attack and then hide. That is fine with me but a sad note for them, who want the world to admire their Biblical knowledge. If they dealt with the classic Justification by Faith passages in the Bible, they would defeat themselves.

Tim Glende Keeps Moving On - New Call to Iowa. Hasn't Iowa Suffered Enough?

Tim Glende created a healthy and happy Eastern Orthodox congregation, by selling his paid-for building and shopping for one that matched his ego.

 The mission board said Glende could not sustain this new building, but he created a healthy, growing Babtist congregaton by skipping town before it was finished. The Babtists grew so fast they added to the building (above)! Glende wanted to close his newly established parish so everyone would forget how he drove it into insolvency.

 Glende escaped to St. Peter in Appleton and suddenly became the senior pastor, based on his ability to create two healthy congregations from his two previous disasters.
Ron Ash, the senior pastor, was head of Jeske's Church and Change or Die political lobby, which still runs WELS. The replacement for Ski is another Jeske pal, Pastor Mike.
As insiders know, Glende/Ski/Katy all worked at Jeske's congregation/business. Glende featured Katy Perry in her onesy as his profile photo on Facebook - for a long, long time. Note Glende's overuse of bronzer. Tch. Tch.

 Pastor Mike is both the new Ski and the new Jeske at Time of Grace.

"The publisher of a book written by Hillary Clinton's longtime pastor is discontinuing sales, citing newly discovered examples of plagiarism.

Abingdon Press has stopped sales of the book "Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton" by Rev. Bill Shillady and plans to destroy the rest of the book's copies, CNN reported Tuesday.

Rev. Brian Milford, president of The United Methodist Publishing House, which owns Abingdon Press, said the publisher "has zero tolerance for plagiarism."

"Consequently, we have discontinued sales, will remove existing copies from all sales outlets, and will have them destroyed along with our existing inventory," Milford said.

CNN previously reported that Shillady had plagiarized material in the book, which includes the pastor's emails with Clinton during her Democratic presidential bid, prompting a review by the company that owns the book's publisher."
