Paul Kuske's Website - Teaches Justification by Faith - And Is Still on the Net

This is a bio of Paul Kuske, who is 94 -

http://essays.wisluthsem.org:8080/bitstream/handle/123456789/2428/JohnstonPKuske.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y

His website is -

I will make this website a left-column semi-permanent link.

Let me know if Kuske quotes me on anything.

Kuske was given the title of District VP Emeritus, but he openly discussed his objections to Objective Justification being taught at the Mequon seminary. So the Michigan District removed his honorary Emeritus designation.

Quoted a Michigan District pastor - "Kuske said when the seminary students graduated,  'There goes another class of false doctrine.'" I do not have the recording, but I do remember this rare item being conveyed to me.

This Is the Singular Reason for WELS and the Missouri Synod Serving as Abusive Cults, Not Denominations, Not Genuine Synods

LCMS, WELS, and ELCA clamored to earn their DMin degrees under the pro-abortion, pro-Planned Parenthood leadership of Donald McGavran, Fuller Seminary.

LCMS and WELS portray themselves as Lutherans (not!) and as conservative Lutherans (definitely not!). Both had rocky starts, being more Calvinist/Pietist than Lutheran. History is often boring and always debatable.

LCMS

As I have observed, often based on the statements of Walther worshipers, CFW did not teach the Chief Article of the Christian Religion - Justification by Faith - but quite the opposite. That puts him in the category of cult leader, not only from his Bishop Stephan's dogma of Objective Faithless Justification, but also from his dishonesty, frauds, and felonies.

If someone could erase or hide Walther's crimes, his anti-Biblical dogma would remain, propped up by those who also confuse and merge the Atonement with Justification - as he did.

Walther insisted on his own way and dominated the sect. However, OJ did not control the entire sect. Justification by Faith remained the major doctrine and continued to be published in their Small Catechisms (such as the KJV catechism) at Concordia Publishing House, in recent years.

Walther, by picking F. Pieper on the St. Louis faculty, ensured the Stephan dogma and therefore disciples of the Halle dogma.

Walther's "grace war" or predestination arguments were nothing more than a way to present a cloaked version of OJ. The Jesuit-trained John Brenner (WELS) acknowledged that in his book. Walther succeeded in breaking up the Olde Synodical Conference so he could be the Big Cheese and not opposition from men more faithful, smarter, and more honest than he ever was.

The 1932 Brief Statement canonized OJ, creating another layer of baloney to force the Halle dogma on the Missouri Cult.

Missouri has continue to lie about its doctrine, which is neither Biblical nor Lutheran, while absorbing and promoting their brand of Calvinism. The poorly trained pastors are so sacrament starved that they have formed quasi-Catholic clubs to promote their Father in Rome and their Father Below.

I own a Knapp, given to me by a former WELS student who is now ELCA. The SJ/OJ terms came from the famous Calvinist translator of Knapp. Both Woods and Knapp were respected in America, and Walther liked the SJ/OJ terms, which were gradually adopted by the doctrinally compromised victims of the Walther cults, the same ones who declared the elements of Holy Communion were just bread and wine until they held them in their consecrated hands.

WELS threw Gausewitz under the bus a long time ago.

WELS

The Wisconsin Sect proves its obnoxious hazing love affair each year, aimed at uniting the first year seminary students with physical and verbal abuse, taking off their clothes for the kitchen staff, and being obnoxious, crude, and addicted to alcohol. One thing will never crop up - using the seminary library.

Walther was able to keep them and the ELS in the fold. CFW even tried to merge WELS seminary students with his in St. Louis, but that did not continue. WELS taught Justification by Faith for a time, but the loss of Gausewitz made it possible for the OJ spirit of darkness to take over slowly.

The original Gausewitz catechism did not have a whisper of OJ, and the original continued to circulate until I publicized that the first ones were still be used. Now the OJ-free catechism has disappeared. But - edited and enhanced and verbose versions appeared. Next came the ultra-dumb Kuske catechism with the pure dogma of OJ, on and on.

Gausewitz was head of the Olde Synodical Conference, so all must have approved of a Justification by Faith catechism in the early days, just as some early Brief Statements were Justification by Faith before the canonical 1932 version floated down from heaven or emerged from the Cloaca Maxima.

Cloaca Maxima, Rome - how ironic.

Mobbing Is Another Word for Unbelieving Synod Officials with Dollar Signs in Their Eyes

The original MOBBING article is still getting attention on the Net. I was amused by the ALPB.org liberals in a state of denial about their methods, especially heresiarch David Benke, retired DP, DP, ex-DP, DP - LCMS.

Enabler Hall of Fame: WELS headquarters, DP Robert Mueller, VP Kuske, and the Michigan District pastors, George Orvick, John Shep, Jay Webber, and Roger Kovaciny.

I wrote a follow-up post on MOBBING, too. Few people realize the source of mobbing - the unbelieving officials - Synod Presidents, District Presidents, Circuit Pastors, and Bishops who meddle with congregations to protect the guilty and expel the faithful. Seminary faculties get involved too.

Never overlook the networks: Church Growth, women's ordination, lavender, and worse. They look out for each other and overlap in their agendas.

The system works because evil and incompetence are rewarded, and the absolved but unrepentant clergy become extra loyal and obedient to their organizations. If a pastor is involved in adultery in the course of counseling a troubled wife, he is promoted from the parish to a position as a mission counselor or Planned Giving Tetzel. If the newspapers find out, the only question among the leaders is not "How can we remove this sin?" but "Who told?" and life goes on.

The more someone is aligned to important people, by birth or marriage, the more he is protected from facing consequences. My example is well known:

  1. Floyd Luther Stolzenburg was caught in the act, forced to resign, was divorced by his wife, and moved to Columbus, Ohio.
  2. Even though Stolzenburg sat in the pew and insulted the circuit pastor during the sermon, whispering his remarks to a relative, Floyd was made the head of a Church Growth cancer "agency" funded by a rich man. Why?
  3. Columbus WELS people did not want the arrogant Stolzenburg doing this work, so even more money was given to have a second divorced pastor, Roger Zehms, share in the destructive work.
  4. VP Paul Kuske was behind this - with Robert Mueller - and they always backed these two losers, who said, "We answer to nobody because we were called directly by the Holy Spirit."
  5. Once the area was finally purged of Zehms and Stolzenburg, the WELS leaders got Floyd by backing his efforts to run Immanuel, where he still is.
  6. Jay Webber and Roger Kovaciny raised money from Floyd Stolesomeburgers and Floyd bragged about his support of them and the ELS. Meanwhile, a large sum of money went missing from the parish funds. The police were invited to investigate, to satisfy the insurance agency.

So guess what happens to anyone who questions the genius leadership of WELS-ELS? MOBBED.

After WELS stopped propping Stolzenburg up, the ELS took over. Kovaciny, backing Faithless Floyd, sent rants against me on email, so I forwarded them all to George Orvick and WELS officials. Webber had no problem working with Floyd and naming a Ukraine church after Floyd's Masonic parish.

Another Whooper from the UOJ Gang - WELS Discussions.
Boycott the Emmaus Conference

There is a softer side to WELS -
ask the veterans of the Mequon mattress room.

  • Joel Dusek Thanks for your thoughts, Revs. Webber and Pederson. For the record, though, I'm not struggling with this. I had my moments of inquiry and study a couple years ago when a pastor in New Mexico [Paul Rydecki] was removed from his fellowship after he suggested that Justification was being taught incorrectly. Not being a trained theologian myself, I had to study it using materials and references from a variety of sources. Both sides cited the Scripture and Confessions to support their position, and much meaning was lost in a squall of terminology.
In the end, I am confident that Christ suffered, died, and rose to vicariously atone for the sins of the entire world, to propitiate God's wrath and justice, and to secure the forgiveness of sins for all people. However, I am confident that any statement that implies or asserts that ALL people are ALREADY forgiven is incorrect, as forgiveness and righteousness are only received through Faith in Christ's substitutionary sacrifice. Faith alone justifies, although Faith itself is not a work of Man but of God. Thus, I disagree with Huber, Bivens, Buchholz, and others who assert that all people are forgiven separate from faith.
    No struggle here!

  • Ron Pederson Thanks for your kindly worded response. I am aware of the situation you refer to where a WELS pastor was removed from the WELS because he denied objective justification to mean the sins of the world are forgiven in Christ.

This action by the WELS w
as only consistent with what they and the ELS believe and practice in other situations as well. There have been many pastors who have applied for membership in the ELS or WELS who were turned down because they could not accept our position on objective justification. No seminary graduate would be allowed to become a pastor in either the WELS or ELS if it became known that they did not agree with our position on OJ. Any pastor in either the WELS or ELS would not be allowed to stay if he persisted in a different view of OJ.

I understand that the pastor you refer to now belongs to a different synod. It is a synod that believes almost exactly the same as we do except for OJ. And I am sure that that synod would also practice what they believe and remove any pastor who persisted in his disagreement with the synod’s position on OJ.

Again, thanks for a good and civil discussion . I understand the hurt that you feel regarding of this situation. But remember, let scripture, not a man or your loyalty to him, be your guide.
  • The Synodical Conference president's catechism was removed from WELS,
replaced by the Kuske sex manual -
    and Gausewitz is forgotten.
Fuller alumnus Jim Huebner is at Gausewitz' old parish.
Many WELS members and pastors grew up
on Gausewitz and justification by faith alone.

  • ***
  • GJ - Tis so funny to hear someone say "our position" so many times and then say, "
Let scripture (sic), not man or your loyalty to him, be your guide."
  • I find it noteworthy that pastors use lower case for Scripture and the Scriptures when they bow their knee to Holy Mother Synod, all the while claiming the Word without citing the Word.
  • Here is the whooper. You thought I meant whopper, dincha? But I meant whooper, a lie so big it makes us  whoop with laughter.
  • Former District VP Paul Kuske was not removed from the ministerium when he loudly and persistently attacked UOJ and "another class at Mequon coming out with false doctrine." I heard that a congregation got very upset about all that, and we all know how much WELS needs its spiritual Valium, lest another Protest'ant scandal erupt.
  • DP John Seifert, ever the politician, stripped Kuske of his title VP Emeritus, which naturally meant nothing before or after. But was Kuske removed? Not at all. He has always been a spear carrier for Church Growth and clergy adultery. He had too many friends on both sides of the cheap motel to be removed.

  • Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
    20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
    23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
    24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
  • And yet, the dullards of UOJ cite Romans 4 as a UOJ chapter, but omit Romans 4:24.
  • And when justification by faith is mentioned, they say, "OJ here and SJ there," never thinking these terms came from the Calvinist translator of the Halle Pietist Knappe.
  • Was Paul Kuske removed from the ministerium of WELS?
    Of course not.

Breaking News - WELS DP Seifert Clobbers former District VP Paul Kuske for Opposing UOJ

John Seifert used Bob Mueller's failings to replace,
then repeated the same errors in abundance.
Five sources have confirmed that DP John Seifert stripped Paul Kuske of his emeritus status for opposing UOJ.

Seifert announced this at the latest Michigan conference but did not include it in his report.

VP Paul Kuske served a church part-time in retirement.

Mequon class of 1953.

Kuske was the person promoting Church Growth in Columbus, Ohio.

His report on WELS financial malfeasance was used in removing Gurgle from the synod presidency, so Mark Schroeder could take over financial malfeasance - and he did.

The Four Noble Truths of WELS are understood by all clergy - and enforced.
