One of my Church and Chicanery pals has announced to me that I should not quote his listserve members as they reveal their personalities, grasp of doctrine, and creative spelling. Also, I should not quote people who have died, out of respect.
Alas, with such restrictions I would have to stop quoting Luther, Chemnitz, Chytraeus, and Gerhard.
I would have to remove all the Gerhardt hymns - "out of respect," as the anonymous advisor commands.
No-can-do.
