Anonymouse has left a new comment on your post ""The Only Lutheran Left Standing" in TV":
Brett,
What did St. Marcus or Time of Grace do to you that creates such hatred in your heart? Or does pastorless Jackson have you under his spell and control?
***
GJ - I enjoy the way in which WELS apostates make an objection to false doctrine the very essence of sin. But what is more hateful than posting such comments anonymousely?
This website is read and enjoyed all over the world, perhaps by people who identify with the main character in "The Piece of String." That short story involved a man who picked up a string and was accused of stealing a wallet. The more he told the story of his injustice, the more people laughed at him. Finally, they began asking him about the piece of string just so they could be amused.
He died in the first days of January, and in the delirium of his death struggles he kept claiming his innocence, reiterating:
"A piece of string, a piece of string--look--here it is, M'sieu the Mayor."
The Wisconsin Sect has perfected the art of turning a valid doctrinal objection into the most heinous sin possible, the Sin Against Holy Mother WELS. The apostate hatred of sound doctrine is flipped into your hatred of individuals.
Clearly the internal temperature of Church and Chicanery has reached Wigging Out. They hate being exposed and loathe their inability to fool all the people all the time. They will leave behind a strong odor as they leave the room, like their Father Below.

Anonymous, from what I wrote here (http://ichabodthegloryhasdeparted.blogspot.com/2009/03/only-lutheran-left-standing-in-tv.html) you say I have hatred in my heart?
I quoted Scripture which shows what a spectacularly blessed thing it is to be in the presence of God in heaven and to sing praises to Him. I then quoted Jeske where he thinks that doing so is boring and an activity and vision of heaven promoted by Satan.
I stand by my statement that Jeske is a wolf for attributing to Satan the very Words and description of heaven that God has given to His Christian Church.
When I contacted Time Of Grace to ask for clarification of the blasphemous comments made by Jeske and promoted and maintained by Christ The Rock church I received this, "Good morning Brett,
Thank you for your email and for taking the time to contact us. I wish I could tell you that Pastor Jeske has time to respond to all questions and contact we receive at Time of Grace, but unfortunately that is not possible.
The Time of Grace team, however, appreciates all contact and will respond to the best of our ability.
The quote you mention below, if taken as is, and out of context, would certainly appear to be somewhat disturbing. What could possibly be wrong with singing eternal praises to our God in heaven? However, in context, the point of Pastor Jeske's response is that Satan has done a very good job of detracting from our anticipated heavenly joy by painting heaven as boring and anti-climactic. Honestly, who wants to sit on a cloud and sing all day?
And we've all heard the jokes about the good ole rascals down in hell having a great time living it up with their sinful ways. Sounds like a subtle scheme of Satan's to make us question the goal of our heavenly home and make us think that this world is the best it's gonna get, instead of embracing the fact that the best is yet to come. No wonder we get so attached to this world and can't bear to consider our mortality.
Through Pastor Jeske's messages I have a newfound anticipation of the
currently unimaginable joys that await me in heaven. God has been silent with all the details, but as Pastor Jeske explained in the rest of his answer to that question - it won't be boring!
Thanks again for your interest, I hope this response has been helpful.
Blessings,
Amy

Anonymous, why do you defend Jeske in regards to his statement? Is Jeske to be commended?
The Church Growth movement detests anything considered by them to be boring even if it is God's Words.

I'm actually quite surprised that pastorless Jackson even posted my question. Anyway, I was taught not to answer a question with a different question.
Anonymous WELS pastor, your continued use of the title 'pastorless Jackson' doesn't have the insulting affect you may be trying for. As a called Pastor he of course does not have a pastor other than Christ his Shepherd and Master.
Also, I answered your question but you, with childish wit, infer that I didn't and will not answer my questions.
I don't know who taught you your etiquette but you would do well to remember that Christ himself answered questions from the brood of vipers of His time with questions. I have only done the same.
Luke 20:1-8, "And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things."
In Christ,
Brett Meyer
