The St Peter's bulletin says that Pastor Tim Glende is at a "Pastors Conference: May 19 - May 21."

Because this is graduation and call week, there are likely no WELS Pastors Conference during this time.

Mars Hill pastor Mark Driscoll is headquartered in Seattle. He is a favorite false teacher among the Church and Chicaneries.

Mark Driscoll lies?

That is all I have for the moment. Ski, Katie, and Glende discoverd their Tweets are being circulated with gusto, shock, and disgust, so they are not sharing as much as before. Anyone can check up by calling the congregations involved. Tain't my synod, as the Shrinkers keep reminding me.

Pure guesswork:
The trio has barely unpacked from the awesome Drive 09 Conference with Andy Stanley and five other WELS pastors. Another Schwaermer conference so soon suggests to me that Church and Change is developing an exit strategy for its congregations.

That would make more sense out of the Popcorn Cathedral of Rock. Hints suggest that the primary audience of The CORE consists of local WELS members. They could join PCR (aka The CORE) when the split comes.

Mark Driscoll preaches at more than one WELS congregation, via the highly trained pastor Kelming sermons from Mars Hill.

On this blog Driscoll is called "The Cussing Pastor."

R-rated description of Driscoll content.

Wikipedia entry on Driscoll - pace, Kit.

Driscoll, along with Leif Moi, Mike Gunn, and the Acts 29 network of independent churches, is part of the missional theology community that adheres to classical Calvinist, or Reformed, theology and views their mission as communicating this school of theology to "modern" people (Emerging Reformed).
