Will the terminations remove the cancer? Probably not. Chemo may not work or kill WELS. While waterboarding the culprits would bring some satisfaction, it is illegal.

Growth and decline mean nothing in and of themselves. Faithfulness to Scripture and the Confessions is the only measure. Osteen is a god in the world of church growth - what is that getting him? Losing his own soul.
Members for their own good must follow the money to learn what goes on in synod. While this is obstructed in one way or another, they must insist upon disclosure to get at the truth.
Aren't you expecting a lot from members used to subordinating themselves to a totalitarian regime?
Bongo does not look like a lost sheep, but with that dazed look he is WELS material.
