It is only an urban myth that Mama Cass died choking on a ham sandwich. According to Wikepedia (the source of all wiscom and knowledge): "Some sources claim her death was due to a heart attack or heart failure, her death certificate attributes death to "fatty myocardial degeneration due to obesity."
So maybe ham did have have a factor after all.
