ELCA Wins By Losing

Not so dumb.

Many assume that ELCA is suffering terrible losses due to its polarizing vote on homosexual clergy, even though the vote was only one more step in a long list of leftward shifts, which began with Franklin C. Fry's efforts against inerrancy in the ULCA.

Large congregations are leaving ELCA and many are holding back their congregations. The final result will be:

1. ELCA will have little opposition when future votes are taken.
2. ELCA will control vast pension assets.
3. ELCA will continue to receive benefits as members die with irrevocable trusts in place or wills left unchanged.
4. ELCA will own and control its own property.

These results are equivalent to the Book of Concord wing, admittedly small, winning control of everything from the Presiding Bishop's office down to the ELCA church camps, a clean sweep.

ELCA is not so dumb. Incompetent, apostate, and disgusting - but not dumb. The more they lose, they more they dominate what remains. They are standing at the door, shouting, "Bye bye!" as they see some depart and trip up others who want to leave. If an ELCA pastor tries to take his congregation through the exit votes and fails, he or she is doomed from that moment on.

So far, no ELCA bishop in office has shown the spine of Episcopalian bishops who have taken entire districts out of their denomination.

In time the synods will own all the member churches.

Yes, the conservative Episcopalians said that the hierarchy could have the buildings and the money, but at least they'd be deprived of the people. At least ELCA congregations can take the buildings and grounds with them.

Thinking ahead, rather than just looking at the present, the apostates can do less damage with the loot than they can with the people, loot and property. The loot will probably go for self-enrichment, I suppose.

All religious denominations will be assimilated into the New World Order religion. That's why (W)ELS, LCMS etc are all moving toward the New Age Emergent Church with it's inclusiveness and rejecting the Book of Concord which is divisive.

It's not like the Lutheran (sic) synods haven't had practice overlooking abominable practices like abortion, homosexuality, mass murder, pedophilia, false doctrine and practices etc just so they could get more money.

Once the NWO controls all money through the IMF they'll have to kiss the ring of the Antichrist, like LCMS DP Benke, to get the cash. Ski, you know who likes the cash don't cha...the ladies.

Now Brett, why are you picking on 'poor' Ski? Pastor GJ was posting about the ELCA!

"false doctrine and practices etc just so they could get more money"

Talk about the NWO! Connect these dots! Ski(Core-kinda-WELS-church) goes outside of fellowship with the Mars Hill leadership.(no secret folks) Mars Hill has satelite churches all over, such as Resurgence and Acts 29. You can go online and see where all these places are located. In my neck-of-the-woods their is a significant presence. Even churches going by a different name, such as Bible, Comm., etc, are in some part connected to the Mars Hill.(using their materials, speakers visiting, using some programs)

Buit wait, there's more! Willow Creek!(yes I have discussed this on the blog before) Glende, Ski's friend, is utilizing Willow Creek teachings at his WELS church.(this is no secret, it has been documented) Others in the WELS have been spotted swimming in the infested Creek. Just in my-neck-of-the-woods alone, the number of churches affiliated with Willow Creek is disturbing.(this ain't counting the ones that leave out the information)

Here is where it gets weird! Some of the Mars Hill category churches and the Willow Creek affiliates were THE SAME.(the congregations had Mars Hill and Willow Creek list serve) Strange! How did all this happen? As Brett explained, does this play a big role in the NWO?

Last, but not least, WELS certainly has its issues. But let me tell ya, if a pastor anounced that he was living with 'his' boyfriend, that pastor would be booted out in a nano second!!

In Christ,
