Joseph Schmidt has left a new comment on your post "WELS Leaders Suggest Babtist as Expert on Lutheran...":
Gee, thanks Church and Change for pointing us to a Babtist to learn about Lutheranism. Maybe you should put up a link to the Book of Concord on your site, but that might be too Lutheran for you.

GJ - That shows what morons these people are. They are not only morons for doing it, but even more so for revealing their colossal ignorance on their precious website.
Just remember, all you loyalist spending money on benevolence. Gurgle said he was getting rid of Church and Change years ago. Yes, I know, that was another SP. When he said that, Church and Change was signing up people for their next conference on the WELS.net website. Schroeder ended the link.
Nevertheless, the head of WELS technology is a Willow Creek zombie - used to give Hybels sermons verbatim. The same Martin Spriggs, featured in the Radloff propaganda magazine, gave his presentation at the Arizona-California-Las Vegas district meeting just held. The title is "Brains Running Out Like Water" or something like that.
WELS - standing firm against the inroads of false doctrine. See the graphic below, supplied by a come-outter.

Makes me wanna puke.

I have heard Hybels is introducing the people of Willowcreek to some type of Emergent contemplative mysticism. He even says God speaks to him directly.
Here is the first thing that came up on Google about this: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/newsletter112607.htm.
It names all the favorites of Church and Change in WELS: Hybels, Sweet, Yancy, Warren.
Church and Change, like Concordia in St. Louis, featured Sweet at a conference, thanks to Paul Kelm. Kelm was disciplined by getting a number of calls after that. Now he is chaplain at Willowcreek College in Milwaukee.
Pastor GJ's words are very kind! On a recent post, Wildcard categorized Church And Change as neo-communists and neo-athiests. When one comments over at Intrepid Lutherans, you have to tie the C&C/CG issues with an actual source or link. Post Modernism is listed under the Resources section of the C&C website. After clicking on Post Modernism, Emergent Church is listed.(Emergent Church, not even lying dude)I can say that my DP was against Leonard Sweet speaking at a past C&C conference. Old news, new to me, is the fact that SP Schroeder had the link to Church And Change taken down from the WELS website. Some of the C&C partners, like the Women's Ministries, are lissted on the WELS web. "The doctor can get rid of the cancerous tumor, but the smaller cells will still remain. If not removed, they to will get big and ugly."
The Lighthouse blog, like the Baptist guy, is not Lutheran. However, The person who operates Lighthouse has some very informative material about Willow Creek, the Social Gosepel Movement, and other apostasy. I want to be very clear, Church and Change not only invites those outside the framework of fellowship, they go as for as attended those outside churches and their conferences. Where is the dicipline? We, the confessional WELSians, are breaking the Eighth Commandment for even bringing up these issues. for those WELSians teaching Willow Creek doctrine, how about the First Commandment? For those of you who do not know, there are nine others.
Oh, and Wildcard, they could another WELS guy on Intrepid.

Sorry for the typos. List should not have the extra letter. I meant to say attending instead of attended. The first letter in the word for should be capitalized. In the last sentence, the word use should have been placed after the word could. My punctuation, as most of you know, is pretty hopeless.

We enjoy your incisive and witty comments, Church Lady, and yet you are unfailingly kind. I publish a ton of typos a month. I catch most of them, but not all of them. I count on the Shrinkers to find them - if they can.
As a Babtist, Brian knows the errors to point out to WELS, baptism for one. Also, WELS is little more than RCC light -- not so many calories.
