The Church Mouse has a review of seminaries. Normally I would not look at their catalogs. Few readers would. Look over the observations to see how far down the gutter theological education has gone. The Episcopal Church is just as willing to be snookered as the Lutheran synods.
Emerging Church is all over WELS and Missouri, but that is just a coincidence. Everyone should pretend it has not been happening for the last 33+ years.

Thank you so much, Dr Jackson -- the next one will be a Lutheran one. I'll let you know when it will appear (probably not for another couple of weeks).
After I read the VTS catalogue, I read a few others: Lutheran, Episcopal and Nazarene. Let's just say that all is not what it seems on the surface.
For any of your readers who are evaluating potential pastors or adjunct ministers (e.g. for youth programmes), please check out the seminaries they attended (a chap named Mark James posted a link to a list of mainly US seminaries in the comments) and ask them about various things: how they view the Bible, the type of liturgy they prefer (because whatever they prefer, the congregation will get in time) and other probing questions. It will probably be unpopular with the rest of the committee, but the answers you receive could determine whether you save your church.
Sorry to be dramatic, but it would seem that your readers are aware of the perils in our churches. And they are correct in their impressions.
