Mind Like Water - Going Down the Drain

Church Mouse scores again.

From Church Mouse:

Blanchard endorses a book Mind Like Water by Jim Ballard who says in the acknowledgment section that he wishes to acknowledge the great line of masters for their guidance and inspiration. And who count among Ballard’s “line of masters”? … “Jesus Christ, Bhagavan Krishna, Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswas and Paramahansa Yogananda.”
Does Mind Like Water ring any bells?  The WELS Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary features a course by the same name.  Could the book be on the reading list?

GJ - Their Willow Creek addict technology guy gives lectures around the synod called "Mind Like Water." I am sure there is no connection at all. Just thinking it is a violation of the Eighth Commandment and Matthew 18.

The line of masters, which includes Christ, is a reference to Theosophy (as noted also in an above post by Rogue Lutheran) which was initiated by Satanist Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey. They started the Prayer Room at the United Nations in New York which is dedicated to the worship of Satan. Theosophy teaches that the true christ, Sweet's cosmic christ, is coming who will lead mankind to acknowledge their godhood. They teach that Jesus Christ is the cosmic christ's (or Maitreya) disciple and follower. Theosophy is the New World Order religion and is working to establish the NWO as the political platform for the Antichrist - which the Lutheran churches are financing with all the gusto that they have.

Pastor Tim Rossow wonders whether the professors at Concordia Seminary were closet Pietists since now they are replacing chapel with small group sessions. In 1992 the new Titus and Timothy chapel was dedicated, and those were A. H. Franke's favorite epistles! See:

The Life of Augustus Herman Franke, by Guericke, p. 28:

excerpt: Were they just holding back their support for pietiesm in those days and now that their aforementioned peers are gone they are free to express it?
