I fail to see how this is relevant to the world of Lutheranism.
Why do middle-aged, overweight WELS pastors pose with apostate young floozies - while claiming they are "tranforming lives?" My posts are real, relevant, and relational.

All I'm saying is that we shouldn't condemn for this when it would be just as easy to say another pastor shops at a store that has liberal ties, or is openly pro-choice. It's somewhat of the same attack.
a-lutheran, you are wrong to say that (W)ELS Pastor Tim Glende shouldn't be called to repentance over his publicly posted photo with a woman who's made a career out of promoting lesbianism, fornication and moral debauchary in general. Would you also say that it's wrong to call (W)ELS Pastor Ski to repentance over his intimate photo with a porn star?
1 Timothy 3:1-2, "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;"
Glende and Ski do not display good behavior. As vile as the doctrine and practice of these two (W)ELS pastors are, it's important to remember that every (W)ELS member is in fellowship with these men and by not removing them from fellowship (or requiring their removal by the spineless Synod President, District Presidents etc)they are condoning and promoting the abhorent behaviour.
Discernment goes out the window when the central doctrine of Christian faith is perverted.
