Discounts on Catholic Lutheran Protestant Orders

Like all the Martin Chemnitz Press books, the leader's Discussion Guide can be downloaded as a free PDF.

Martin Chemnitz Press Storefront at Lulu.com

Someone has just ordered 10 copies of CLP  through me. I was able to take about 50% off the listed price. That works out well for 5 or more copies. I have had pastors and laity order 20 at a time. Lulu has spared me the address, wrap, dash to the PO part of getting books out.

Liberalism and Thy Strong Word have also been ordered by the box. The books are available again.

I am completing some edits on TSW before reloading it again. That is another advantage of Lulu. I can fix up a book, expand or amend it, and upload the file in a few seconds.

Luther versus the UOJ Pietists: Justification by Faith is nearing completion. I expect the print-ready edition to be done this month, d.v.

During my commute yesterday I was considering the implications of Universal Objective Justification (UOJ) on the Lutheran Synods.

For those who don't know, the Lutheran Synods all teach that when Christ died and paid the sins of the whole world, God declared everyone, believers and unbelievers, forgiven of all sin, justified by the body and blood of Christ, at peace with Him regardless if they ever come to faith in Christ.

One implication is referenced on Ichabod often which attributes the heinous sins of Lutheran clergy, at least to some degree, to the doctrine of UOJ in which they confess that they were already forgiven even before the believed. Therefore the heinous sin they are preparing to commit (adultery, murder, fraud, blasphemy etc) is already forgiven and there's no spiritual harm in giving in to their fleshly desires.

I was thinking that directly tied to this implication is the UOJ teaching that the world was forgiven by God for all sins before they believed. Thus there is no danger of losing God's forgiveness when by their sinful acts they lose their faith. You see faith is changed from that gift of the Holy Spirit through which the individual clings to Christ alone and is forgiven, to simply belief in Christ. UOJ teaches a faith which does nothing otherwise it becomes a work of man and that is condemned.

The other serious implication is in regard to UOJ's teaching of faith and their jaugernaut journey toward ecumenical unity with other religions. The fact is that if faith, UOJ's empty and outstretched hand recieving what was already declared to be true (your full and complete forgiveness at the Cross), is simply belief in Christ then anyone who says "I believe in Jesus" is a Christian and there's simply no reason to consider or address doctrine. Ties in nicely with Pietism which glorifies the outward actions and fellowship while disregarding doctrine, Christ's doctrine. Therefore the decision theology religions are Christian, the Antichrist and his church is Christian, the humanist religions are Christian etc. What's to keep these religions apart when money only flows from the church of the Antichrist, the New World Religion?
