Objection - "But wasn't Rob Bell a Fuller Seminary student like Huebner, Bivens, Olson, Kelm, Roth, Valleskey and many other WELS heroes? That would make him a Harmless Heretic also. No?"
Answer - Bell has taken the assumptions and exegesis of WELS to its logical conclusion. He has chosen to swim the River Styx, to borrow a phrase. The ones above choose to wave from the shore, but they will join him soon.
