This year, I'm re-reading J.A.O. Preus' translation of Chemnitz's 'Two Natures in Christ.' (A CPH book, for what it's worth).

The way I chanced upon this book was an article Greg Jackson wrote in Christian News in 1989, suggesting readings for developing and maintaining an orthodox Lutheran theology.

Jackson is not perfect. However, it baffles me why some feel such vitriol toward him. The last time I checked, no one was forced to read his -- or anyone's -- website. I Peter 4.8 and all that.

@Nehrenz says: "(these can be rented by anyone, even women, at the local Halloween costume shop)" Hmmmm....sounds like a man who has some experience in these matters. Is there something you want to confess?

@Huffman: Why such vitriol? Hmmm...well, aside from the maniacal serial slandering, there is the little matter of his heresy about the Gospel itself, along with a host of other sundry and assorted doctrinal deviancies. But other than that, I'm sure he is just a really swell guy.

All these WELS shrinkers do not want folks to read Ichabod but look on Facebook. You now have over 1300 friends. For a man that they say everyone hates that sure is a lot of friends if you ask me.
