Historically, when the prep, college and seminary experience was only six years long (before the Depression), the Tertias only had three years before being ordained into the ministry. Tertia means three in Latin. So get this, the tertias were the main hazers at Northwestern Prep/College, and just three years before being in the ministry, they were engaged in tormenting mere kids just out of grade school. That's the true WELS for ya.

A Utah professor needs to get the lawyer the WELS got Hochmuth.
