A few posts ago I had fun with WELS posting a list of the Synodical Council Nenbers (sic). I noticed the spelling mistake a long time ago, but never said anything.
I finally pointed it out.
I wondered if they would react to my chuckle about this error, since "no one reads Ichabod." I looked it up and the link was gone.
My next question was - "Is the link gone and the page missing, or did they just remove the link so people would not look it up and laugh at their spelling?"
I found the original link in my post, which I preserve with the content, whenever possible. I learned from Ski that the WELSian sneaks will take down the link while leaving the material posted. If you search for churchfromscratch.net, you will get Doebler's copy and paste congregation, which uses another URL but still links from the Church and Change URL. Somebody pays for that domain.

In conclusion, the WELS nenbers pay their synod leaders millions of dollars in overhead costs so the Conference of Pussycats can ponder the future far, far way - in sunshine, on the beaches, sipping some hard liquor. Meanwhile, they are too lazy to fix their spelling mistakes on their own website. That would have meant editing the PDF file and uploading the corrected file, about five minutes work. Instead, they erased the linking words, about 10 seconds work. Look at what they spend on "technology" each year.
Yes, they are reaching out with the Gospel, using Other People's Money to feed and water their paunches.

It's a shame there's no inclination on the part of the Lutheran Synods to fix their ultimate error and stumbling stone - their false gospel of Universal Objective Justification.
Instead of removing links to it they continue an attempt to prop it up by quoting the false teachings of those, living and dead, who promoted it before.
The truth is that they will never succeed in fully establishing this false teaching. Thier children and grandchildren will see how they tried to mask the foul stench of the rotting UOJ corpse they continue to feed the laity in heaping, putrid spoonfulls. They will be known for excommunicating members of Christ's Church who are faithful to Scripture and the Confessions. They will try to cover the slimy trail of false teachings and practices that lead the discerning back to their false way of righteousness.
When Gurgle wanted to cover up the loss of $8Million dollars he had Pastor Jon Buchholz write his infamous 2005 WELS Convention paper supporting UOJ and Gurgle's forgiveness. Buchholz received his District President position and a ticket home to Arizona. The laity received a foul paper quoting Becker, Marquart, Walther, Hoenecke, JP Meyer and others in their promotion of the false gospel. Buchholz told me that everyone needed to return to using Scriptural words to teach and describe the doctrine of Justification and yet he defended the false teaching saying, "...and yet Scripture doesn't speak this way.", "The Bible doesn't make the statement, "God has forgiven the world." and "However, once again we're wresting a term our of its usual context. In Scripture the term "righteous" usually refers to believers."
When opposition grew against UOJ the (W)ELS South Central District spewed forth multiple essays defending Universal forgiveness, righteousness and blaspheming the Holy Spirit's faith. Some of the essays were simply verbatum copies of Buchholz' 2005 Convention essay. All were the same 'repeat-after-me' confessions.
When opposition continued to grow individuals were excommunicated for defending Justification by Faith Alone and addressing the unending contradictions and blasphemies in UOJ confession.
Opposition still grows and another UOJ symposium has been organized with Roman Catholic University professors defending the false teaching to Lutheran leaders.
And so it will, and should, continue to be until Christ returns to judge the quick and the dead. The majority of false teachers who continue to defend UOJ will do so until then because rejecting the faith of the Holy Ghost they find no comfort awaiting them if they were to admit their grave errors and return to teaching Christ's true doctrine of Justification, they see only guilt and shame which further fuels their lust for forgiveness without faith and a righteous verdict by God before they "believed".

Mosaic church, an untraditional ministry in Chattanooga, Tenn., has been forced to relocate after a gang-related shooting occurred at its Christian nightclub, Club Fathom, during a Christmas party.
The shootings occurred when the 400 participants of Club Fathom’s Christmas Eve party exited around midnight. Nine people were wounded in the shootings.
