President Harrison Goes To Washington

Thank you, Dr Jackson -- well done, especially by way of illustration with the Pill.

There is something inherently wrong with the tuition bubble -- whether by design or accident. The end result is the destruction of the family.

Some will say, 'For many years, Europeans have married later.' That is true, although I'm not sure why, as we are only now getting our own tuition bubble, still much less that what it is in the US.

On the other hand, faithful Calvinists will say, 'Who cares? Start a family now! Why wait?' See journalist Robert Stacy McCain here:

This is a dilemma.

Very funny, but sad just the same. Here's a cartoon and article along the same lines. Ironically, just as Australia was a debtor's colony, America is turning into a debtor's country, and an open-air debtors prison:

Anti-Dowry: Burden of College Loans on Graduates Grows, By TAMAR LEWIN, April 11, 2011:

snippet: In some circles, student debt is known as the anti-dowry. As the transition from adolescence to adulthood is being delayed, with young people taking longer to marry, buy a home and have children, large student loans can slow the process further.
