"Comments are not always something posted on the blog. I hear from FB friends, from instant messaging, emails, and phone calls. News does not come from one person or a group of people all the time - it comes from a constantly changing group. Like the Keystone Kops, the WELS leaders chase one set of suspects, falling all over each other, only to have another set pop up and lead them off in another direction.
The exhausted Keystone Kops have no time or energy to deal with felons working out of the Love Shack, pastors worshiping with false teachers, and the systematic abuse of members."
This made me laugh, but it is so true. If you post on this blog and your identity is discovered, you are quickly called into someone's office for a "talk." Those talks tend to be along the lines of "that blog is just full of venom and you shouldn't even be going to it and that it is like a wild boar out in the vineyard looking to kill someone." Unfortunately, even if you "repent" you are put on a list of people to watch, and if you don't keep your nose clean, well, you just get the left foot of fellowship because you are a divisive force. So yes, they don't have time to worry about the real problems of the synod, they're too busy claiming executive privilege on everything trying to keep their skeletons in the closet.

The stated policy of the LCMS is to have District Presidents destroy all evidence of child molestation by church workers.
We now know that Minnesota District (LCMS) leaders put a convicted sex offender into its drive-by pastor program and installed him in a parish to rape again. WELS has the same skeletons to hide, maybe more per capita than any other abusive sect. How many have a DP/bishop who went to their state prison for abusing minors in his own congregation? WELS can boast of that - and more.
WELS knew Hochmuth was man-boy file swapping felon, because he was caught and went into counseling. But nothing was done until he was caught again - with hundreds of graphics at WELS headquarters.
WELS is broke - until Glende wants to buy a stinky old bar in downtown Appleton. Then WELS has grant money and loan money.
