This is a polemical site based on one theme - The Glory Has Departed.
For dunderheads who graduated from Mequon, Bethany, or the two Discordias, that is my reference to the following quotation. The departed glory is the Means of Grace, the peculiar - that is - the unique glory of the Lutheran Church.
Bound up with the proper understanding of the Biblical Means of Grace is the efficacy of the Word, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, and justification by faith alone. One is not divorced from another, but all are part of the unified truth of the Holy Scriptures.

Like Glende's/Ski's/et al's Happy-Clappy services with a praise band instead of an organ.
It is troubling that the confessions that these pastors (and teachers) swear to uphold and teach when they are installed are so reviled and forgotten that when someone brings them up, they are immediately eyed upon with suspicion and disdain.

GJ - I will post my portrait of Ski as a bishop and below that, what the theologian wrote about those who despise the Creeds. They condemn themselves. The follow of WELS and Missouri is their tolerance of these blasphemies.
