Wherefore that place in Genesis, “In thee shall all nations be blessed,” speaketh not of the blessing of the mouth, but of such blessing as belongeth to the imputation of righteousness, which is available before God, and redeemeth from the curse of sin, and from all those evils which do accompany sin. Now, this blessing is received only by faith: for the text says plainly: “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for
righeousness.”
Martin Luther, Kregel, Galatians 3:8, p. 141.

Pastor emeritus Nathan Bickel has left a new comment on your post "UOJ Advocates Like Jay Webber, Rolf Preus, Paul Mc...":
Ichabod -
How much explaining and pointing out to these "Lutheran" personages, will it take, to either get them to change the error of their ways, or for them to initiate a concerted effort to rid their perspective Lutheran synods of the name, "Lutheran?"

GJ - I am perplexed that anyone could claim a quia subscription to the Book of Concord and claim that people are justified, forgiven, and saved without faith. Yet the people named in the headline all advocate that nonsense.
