I don’t remember if this person ever actually heard [listened to] what my wife and I attempted to say, in response. Most often, “A person convinced against his own will, is of the same opinion, still.” We essentially conveyed to this dear Christian Brother that our prayers don’t necessarily have to be verbally spoken in specific detail. Here's what the one hymn lyric beautifully states:
