"Oren Paris paid Shelton's consulting company $267,000 out of college money from 2013 to 2015 without notifying his college's board until October 2015, according to the indictment. Shelton is described in court documents as a mutual friend of Paris and Woods.
Neal received $18,000 for his part in obtaining grants for the college and another $20,000 for obtaining a grant to another nonprofit group, according to his plea.
Ecclesia received $550,000 in improvement grants with the support of Woods, Neal or both. All the grants were issued from 2013 through 2014. Ecclesia received a total of $717,500 in improvement fund grants in 2013 through 2014."

GJ - It is worth noting that none of this money showed up as improvements on the campus. Apparently it went toward even more land (50 acres) being bought for a tiny college that already owned 200 acres.
The Paris family paid itself royally while the staff and instructors received a pittance. Oren Paris III insisted on a $100,000 salary when he became president. Even his mother was on the payroll.
The strangest part of this deal was Oren suddenly having an "executive assistant," part of the deal with the Arkansas politicians. She received around $50,000 a year, plus a cash gift.
