E. H. Wendland proved that - once upon a time - the various Lutheran groups recognized the difference between Justification by Faith and Objective Justification.
However, today the topic is avoided, as if Justification by Faith is not a goad in their sensitive hides. Oh, but the Chief Article is a goad, so painful that the apostates immediately gather to pound, insult, slander, and extend the Left Boot of Fellowship - in Christian love - to the offender.
This only proves my contention, that the UOJists are pathological liars. If they really were confessional, as they claim, they would say, as expressed by E. H. Wendland:
"They teach Justification by Faith, but we teach Universal Absolution without faith." (clarity added)
John Sparky Brenner exemplifies this cowardly switching of OJ and Justification by Faith. His theme is Justification of the World, but he twists Justification by Faith into these strange words - "individual appropriation of forgiveness." Check out Romans 5:1-2, Sparky.
