Missouri and WELS were born in Pietism, though they deny it. Their most astounding delusion is - denying that their original and published, official stance was Justification by Faith.

CFW Walther considered every sentence he wrote to be the official doctrine of the Missouri Synod - and - the standard for all other Lutheran bodies.
Missouri and WELS were too German to be fooled into Justification Before Faith, which hypnotized Walther when Pastor Martin Stephan taught him Halle's Pietism - the entire world was absolved of sin the moment Jesus rose from the dead (1 Timothy 3:16, though the passage says nothing like that).
The hyper-Pietists like Stephan and Sweden's Jannson liked to teach a righteousness without faith, convenient for their sexual promiscuity and cult behavior.
Although Walther could not destroy the Chief Article of Christianity - and no one really can - he left behind two, timed cluster bombs:
- He hand-picked the obedient Franz Pieper to continue his legacy of pretentious Latin lecturing and Objective Justification.
- He developed enough sycophants to promote the Walther-as-Infallible-Prophet image he cultivated.
WELS caught the OJ disorder by having St. Louis alumni teach at their tiny, tinny seminary in Wauwatosa. Three of the WELS professors were trained by Walther and Stoeckhardt, the second St. Louis professor known for his OJ.

Step by step, the OJ fanatics in Missouri and WELS had everyone trained in Objective Justification. Their brain-washing techniques were so thorough that teaching Justification by Faith - defined as the Chief Article of Christianity by Luther, Melanchthon, and the Formula of Concord - means automatic expulsion from the ministry in WELS.
In the LCMS, Objective Justification is taught in their boggy and overpriced Confessing the Gospel, their gigantic "Small" Catechism, and everywhere else. Scaer and the Preus Crime Family used OJ to beat on the late Walter Maier II, take away his Romans course, and humiliate him.
The Pyrrhic Victory of Objective Justification

OJ has won, but at what cost?
- Congregations are closing at a record pace, merging too, which is a polite way to close a parish.
- The schools are shrinking.
- The seminaries are overbuilt for dwindling needs.
- The official translations are a joke while the precise King James Bibles are scoffed.
- The ending of Mark, the twisted and lame translations? Blame yourselves, OJists. Blame yourselves.
