We are having glitches with Vimeo live streaming, including breaks in the broadcast and variable organ music, even straight from the file. The new camera does not have a tripod yet, but I do not think that the old camera is the cause.
Two alternatives after a refund are - 1) Straight to YouTube; 2) a free or low-cost video management version working with YouTube.
I will work on #1 this coming week, so you will see experiments on this blog. I no longer feel like a hog on ice, and it is fun to learn these new-fangled things.
One free or low-cost alternative would allow many more live streams at once. That is one possible benefit.
