The less Lutherans know about the Scriptures, the more they promote the Apocrypha. ELDONA was offering video tapes on the Apocrypha when they were teaching Justification Without Faith. Here is some math for the LCMS/WELS Biblical departments. I have often seen dates for Vaticanus and Sinaiticus around 450 AD. How did they exist for over a thousand years without leaving any copies? In fact, how did Sinaiticus exist for so many centuries and retain its white supple leather form?
One more - how did the monks at St. Catherine's conclude that they could throw away those precious Sinaiticus leather pages to be burned - just to warm up the library?
