Another Airplane Event for WELS?

 

 WELS "Project Airport" was so exciting, all the way down, 14 years ago.

What a thrill! to have the Lutheran sects working, planning, and failing together.

WELS burnt a lot of money in 2008, with the usual cast of Fuller alumni. It still makes me chuckle about Valleskey, Bivens, and Wayne Mueller lying about Church Growth and promoting it at the same time. Foam on their beers? - they called me a liar, again and again.

Abusive sects like WELS, the LCMS, and the CLC (sic) can get away with it, because they offer the same reward as the Mob - gold or lead - though not so dramatically. 

The next disaster waiting for WELS is its Lutheran Leadership turkey, at the Chicago Hilton, January 16-18, 2023 AD. Don't fail to miss it.

Pastor Adam Mueller's previous church put on a glorious cross-dressing picnic (pastor and lay leaders) so the children could put the makeup on the men. The parish posted their event for the public - see below - which is more common than most WELS members want to believe.

Pastor Mike walks in the footsteps of Jeske, and the pop Calvinism comes through - "Six Threats to the Great Faith God Wants To Grow in You."  Mike is so far off the mark that Mark must be proud - pure Enthusiasm.  Yes, Mike is in the program too.

The WELS Tele-Tubbies are still Church and Changin' - Kudu Don, far right, will grace the conference too. 

The conference booklet is about 50 pages, so add that to the bottom line, which is probably paid by Thrivent and would easily work for ELCA too. WELS-LCMS-ELS are joined at hip to Thrivent, and Thrivent needs them.

The Boomers are retiring and dying, so this is a great opportunity for Thrivent to sell a lot of charitable gift annuities to members. The annuity will attach itself to the farm, house, or cash. Once signed, it cannot be changed. WELS considers this a godly ministry, because they worship money and those who have it. 

If you are on your deathbed and a WELS/LCMS/ELCA/ELS "gift minister" asks for a signature, that means signing away all that money or property to the church institution, taking it away from the heirs forever. 

The money ministers get a commission, which is denied, but true. They have to get a life/annuities license to sell these things. That is a powerful incentive.
