Charlie Sue Walks Down Memory Lane

Charlie Sue did her warble to go on a walk and stood on her hind legs.

Several sources said that plain old walking was better than using a gym's dreadmill, which tossed me off just like the movies. I was more annoyed by the equipment being changed in the strangest way.

Some test runs showed that Charlie Sue loves walking with leash and treats her staff with kindness and patience. The late afternoon is a great time to walk and to see neighbors. We stopped at Bible John's to tell him Bethany has ordered 10 more Super Giant Print Bibles (KJV) and 24 KJVs for the women's group ($4 each). Super Giant Print is ideal for senior eyes. The smaller KJVs are for those women establishing a new life.

If some want to designate one or both kinds of KJV Bibles, I can easily order them and get the discounts. We have donations from several sources, but if you also want to give as well, the need is there.

Bible John said, "Look at Charlie. She is watching the neighborhood, just like Sassy Sue when she was protecting us." Charlie turned around and licked Bible John on his hand. Pat often comes out and talks to Charlie, getting a kiss or two.

Bible John came over to the parsonage and gave away 3 Super Giant Print Bibles to three workers.

Sassy (above picture) refused to sit alone with fast-food fanatic Ronald McDonald. A stranger offered to take the photo including Sassy.

Daily Luther Sermon Quote - Trinity 19-2 - "Behold, here you have all that belongs to this article of the righteousness of Christ. It consists in the forgiveness of sins, offered to us through Christ, and received by faith in and through the Word, purely and simply without any works on our part."

Trinity 19, Second Sermon SECOND SERMON: The Righteousness of the World and of the Christian, and the Power on Earth to Forgive Sins

20. Therefore only confess this article heartily and boldly and say: Before the world I may be pious and do everything that is required, but before God it is only sin according to this article. Therefore I am a sinner, but a sinner who now has forgiveness and who sits at the throne where grace rules supreme, Psalm 116. If this were not so I would be a sinner like Judas, who saw only his sin, but no forgiveness. But Christians, no matter how much sin they feel in themselves, in that word forgiveness see much more abundant grace presented to them, and poured out over them.

21. Thus learn then to magnify this article and spread it as far as Christ reaches and rules, that you may elevate it far above everything in heaven and on earth. For as the Word soars over all this, so must also faith, which comprehends the Word and keeps the heart steadfast in it, overcome sin, conscience, death and the devil.

22. Consider now what kind of a person a Christian is, who lords it over death and the devil, and before whom all sin is as a withered leaf. Now examine yourself and see how far you have learned this lesson, and whether it is such an insignificant and easy matter as some inexperienced souls think. For if you have learned and believed it, all misfortune, death, and the devil will be as nothing. But since you are still so vexed with sin, and since you are still frightened and in despair on account of death, hell and God’s judgment, humble yourself, give honor to the Word and confess that you have never yet understood this matter.

In short let every man examine his own heart, and he will find a false Christian who imagines that he knows all about this subject before he has learned the first principles of it. The words are soon heard, read and repeated, but to carry out the principle in practice and in character, so that it may live within us, and our conscience may be founded upon it and rest in it, is not in the art of man. Therefore I say and admonish, that those who wish to be Christians may always keep it in mind, assimilate it, practice it, and chastise themselves with it, that we may at least have a taste of it, and as James 1:18, be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. For we shall never advance so far in this life as to come to a perfect understanding of it; nor did even the blessed Apostles, full of the Spirit and of faith, advance so far.

23. Thus far I have explained the first part, what Christian righteousness is and in what it consists. But if you ask further, whence it comes, or how it has been brought about or gained, I answer: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has come from heaven and has been made man, has suffered and died for our sins. This is the cause, the means, and the treasure, through which we obtain the forgiveness of sin and for the sake of which the grace of God is bestowed upon us; for such a treasure does not come to us without means or merit. But since all of us are born in sin and are the enemies of God, we have deserved only eternal wrath and punishment. All that we are and have is condemned, and there is no help or way out of it. For sin is so grievous that no creature can quench it, the wrath so great that no man can appease and conciliate it. Therefore another man must take our place, namely Jesus Christ, God and man, and through his suffering and death make satisfaction for our sins and pay for them. This is the price that has been set, and has been expended for us, by which sin has been quenched and the wrath of God appeased, the Father has been reconciled and made our friend.

24. Christians alone know this and believe it, and are in this respect different from those of every other faith and worship on earth. For the Jews, Turks, false Christians, and those who would be righteous by works, also boast that God is merciful; and there is no man on earth but knows something of the grace of God, and yet all of them fail to obtain it, or in other words, they do not have the treasure in which it lies and from which it flows. They continue in their blindness and imagine they can acquire it by their works, rigid life, and their own holiness, with which they only make the wrath and displeasure of God the more grievous.

25. Therefore it is necessary that we rightly learn to know this treasure, and seek forgiveness where it may be found; that is, that we thoroughly learn to know, comprehend, and keep the Lord Jesus Christ. For it is ordained that no one shall come into God’s presence, find grace, nor obtain forgiveness of the least sin except through Christ. Because you are a sinner, and will always remain one, your conscience is ever present, condemns and threatens you with God’s wrath and punishment, so that you cannot see the grace of God.

With reference to the forgiveness of sins let me say, that you will not find anything in your heart with which you can pay them off, nor raise any funds for which God might recognize you and cancel the debt in the ledger.

But if you seize Christ as the one who has become your substitute, who has taken your sin upon himself, and who has given himself with all his merit and worthiness for you, no sin can avail anything against you. If I am a sinner, he is holy, and is Lord over sin, death, satan and hell, so that no sin can harm me, because he has been given me as my righteousness and salvation.

26. Therefore we have, indeed, pure grace and forgiveness of all sins, but nowhere except in and through Christ alone, and in him only it must be sought and obtained. Therefore whoever will come before God with any kind of work, that God shall recognize and regard as meritorious for obtaining grace, will be disappointed and undeceived, yea, instead of grace he will heap wrath upon himself. Thus you see that all other ways and means are condemned as the doctrines of devils; by which men are led and directed to their own works, or to the holiness and merits of others, as for example, of the saints who have led ascetic lives and followed the rules of their orders, and have suffered and expiated a great deal; or as those have done who have comforted people in the throes of death and have admonished them to suffer death willingly for their sins. Whoever dares to offer anything else for sin or to atone for it himself does nothing else than deny the Lord Jesus Christ, yea, disgrace and slander him, as if the blood of Christ were of no more consequence than our repentance and satisfaction, or as if his blood were not sufficient to take away all the sins of the earth.

Behold the Ending of This Sermon!

31. Therefore I have always taught that the oral word must precede every thing else, must be comprehended with the ears, if the Holy Ghost is to enter the heart, who through the Word enlightens it and works faith.

Consequently faith does not come except through the hearing and oral preaching of the Gospel, in which it has its beginning, growth and strength. For this reason the Word must not be despised, but held in honor. We must familiarize and acquaint ourselves with it, and constantly practice it, so that it never ceases to bear fruit; for it can never be understood and learned too well. Let every man beware of the shameless fellows who have no more respect for the Word than if it were unnecessary for faith; or of those who think they know it all, become tired of it, eventually fall from it, and retain nothing of faith or of Christ.

32. Behold, here you have all that belongs to this article of the righteousness of Christ. It consists in the forgiveness of sins, offered to us through Christ, and received by faith in and through the Word, purely and simply without any works on our part. Yet I do not mean that Christians should not and must not do good works, but that they are not to be mingled and entwined in the doctrine of faith, and decorated with the shameless delusion that they avail before God as righteousness, whereby both the doctrine of works and of faith are besmirched and destroyed. For everything possible must be done to keep this article pure, unadulterated and separate from all our own doings.

Daily Luther Bible Quote - Trinity 19-2 - "Thus learn then to magnify this article and spread it as far as Christ reaches and rules, that you may elevate it far above everything in heaven and on earth. For as the Word soars over all this, so must also faith, which comprehends the Word and keeps the heart steadfast in it, overcome sin, conscience, death and the devil."

Trinity 19, Second Sermon SECOND SERMON: The Righteousness of the World and of the Christian, and the Power on Earth to Forgive Sins

18. You may say: How is this, since I daily feel sin and my conscience condemns me and threatens me with God’s wrath? I answer: For this reason, I say, one must understand that the righteousness of a Christian is nothing that can be named or imagined but the forgiveness of sin, that is, it is a kingdom of power which deals only with sin and with such abundant grace as takes away all wrath.

It is called the forgiveness of sin for the reason that we are truly sinners before God; yes, everything in us is sin, even though we may have all human righteousness. For where God speaks of sin, there must be real and great sin; so also forgiveness is no jest, but real earnestness. When you, therefore, consider this article you have both. Sin takes away all your holiness, no matter how pious you are on earth; again, forgiveness takes away all sin and wrath. Therefore your sin cannot cast you into hell, nor can your piety elevate you into heaven.

19. Therefore, when the devil disturbs your conscience, and tries to bring despair to your heart by saying: “Have you not learned that one must be pious?” then answer courageously and say: Yes, you are right; I am a sinner, that I have known before; for this article, called the forgiveness of sins, has taught me this long ago. I am to be pious and do what I can before the world; but before God I am willing to be a sinner, and to be called nothing else, that this article may remain true, else there would not be forgiveness or grace; but it must needs be called a crown of righteousness and of merits. Therefore, although I feel nothing but many and great sins, yet they are no longer sins; for I have for them a precious panacea and drug which takes away the power and poison of sin and wholly destroys it. It is this word, “Forgiveness,” before which sin disappears like stubbles before the fire. Without it no work, suffering, or martyrdom avails against the smallest sin. For without forgiveness sin is and remains pure sin, which condemns us.

Tom Fisher versus Westcott and Hort -
The Traditional Text versus the Tommyrot of Today's Synods

Dear Pastor Jackson,

Satan created doubt in the text of God's Word when he asked Eve: "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? ( Genesis 3:1 )

In 1881 Westcott and Hort created universal deep seated doubt in the Geek text (TEXTUS RECEPTUS) of God's Word by asking the same question: "Yea hath God said?" This question universally deceived Lutheran pastors and laymen to doubt ALL texts of God's Word, especially the Greek Text (TEXTUS RECEPTUS) God exclusively chose and used during the reformation for over 350 years. ( 1519- 1881)

Soon Lutheran Pastors began to chant, "The original autographs are gone; therefore ALL Greek and Hebrew texts of God's Word contain errors and omissions. God's pure Word He inspired the apostles and prophets to write is ONLY in the original autographs; therefore all texts, copies, and translations of God's Word are corrupted by errors and omissions, and false doctrine."  This Westcott-Hort international chant of unbelief and apostasy soon became deep seated unquestionable TRUTH.

According to God's invincible Word, Westcott and Hort's 'truth' is a vile Satanic LIE. God has promised to preserve the Words He inspired the prophets and apostles to write. He preserved His inspired Word in the Greek TEXTUS RECEPTUS, The King James Bible, and Luther's 1545 German Bible. These are the Bibles God chose and used for the reformation of the whole world. Please note God rejected the corrupt Vaticanus Greek Text and all future corrupt Greek Texts (Vaticanus, Sinaticus, Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland, United Bible Society) and corrupt translations(NIV, RSV, ESV, NASB, NKJV, Beck's, etc) emanating from it.

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalm 12:6,7

In 1881 Westcott and Hort created a second lie: that the Greek TEXTUS RECEPTUS was antiquated and inferior, and in need of being updated and improved by their new and more scientific Westcott-Hort Greek text that was based on ' older more accurate manuscripts'. Soon Lutheran pastors began to reject the true pure preserved Word of God in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS in favor of the new, 'more accurate' Westcott-Hort Greek Text.   Please note this new, 'more accurate' Westcott-Hort Greek Text was actually the repackaging of the corrupt Vaticanus text (plus the fraudulent Sinaticus text) that God had already REJECTED 350 years earlier in 1519 at the beginning of the reformation.

Please remember God chose the TEXTUS RECEPTUS Greek Text when Erasmus published it for the reformation of the whole world in 1519. The newly discovered Gutenberg presses eagerly swung into action and soon the whole world was filled with God's perfectly preserved Word in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS and the exact translations (Luther's 1545 German Bible, English King James Bible, Spanish Reina-Valera Bible, Portuguese Almeida Recebida Bible, Czech Bible of Kralice, Dutch Statenvertaling Bible, Russian Synodal Bible, etc) emanating from it. Please remember God perfectly preserved the Words He inspired the prophets and apostles to write throughout history, especially during the reformation. God gave His pure Words to every nation in their own language during the reformation. The reformation is the fulfillment of Revelations 14:6,7

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Revelations 14:6,7

Nothing happens by chance throughout history, especially during the publishing of God's pure Words in every language during the reformation.

11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. Psalm 68:11-12

Psalm 19 describes the preaching and publishing of God's pure Words into every speech and language throughout the world. The apostle Paul quotes Psalm 19 in Romans 10:18.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. Psalm 19:1-6

In Romans 10 the apostle Paul quotes Psalm 19 when describing the unbelief of the Jews and how they had heard the pure gospel but rejected it. So also today unbelieving Lutheran pastors and laymen have rejected the gospel by rejecting the pure Words of God in the Greek TEXTUS RECEPTUS and the exact translations (Luther's 1545 German Bible, English King James Bible, etc.) emanating from it.

10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. Romans Chapter 10

Romans 10 could easily be applied to the world of Lutheran pastors and laymen who have rejected God's pure Words in the Bibles God chose for the reformation of the whole world. Please remember the parable of the sower: in Luke 8 and Matthew 13.

Luke 8: The seed is the pure Word of God

And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:

A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Matthew 13: Satan steals the Word from those who do not have the correct understanding of the Word. What happens to your faith when the Word is corrupted by the NIV, ESV, RSV, NKJV, Beck's, Doubt creating footnotes, Vaticanus, Sinaticus, Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland, United Bible Society Text? Do these corrupt Bibles nurture your faith or weaken your faith so it is easier for Satan to steal the correct understanding of God's Word away from you? Consider Romans 3:24 in the ultra corrupt 2011 NIV currently used by most WELS pastors and laymen. Note: it teaches everyone is already justified prior to and without true faith. In short it teaches universalism. The word 'all' is not in any Greek Text. (See pg. 34 of The King James Version: Apostolic Texts, Precise Translation versus Fraudulent Texts and Heretical Translations by Pastor Greg L. Jackson, PhD, ISBN: 9798429093451).

22 This righteousness is given through faith in[a] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (2011 NIV Romans 3:22-24)

Now read Matthew 13 considering the effect of the corrupt 2011 NIV on your faith and on your understanding of God's Word.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 13:3-23

How many of God's Words are you willing to give up? How would giving up a few of God's Words affect your faith?

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

Christ our Lord says that we must have EVERY Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Please note that the corrupt Greek Bibles (Vaticanus, Sinaticus, Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland) and the corrupt translations (NIV, ESV, RSV, NKJV, NASB, Beck's, etc) change,  delete, and corrupt God's pure Word (TEXTUS RECEPTUS) in over 8,000 places.

Does your faith need the word 'Godhead' in Colossians 2:9 without doubt creating footnotes?

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9 KJV

Does your faith need the word 'Godhead' in the Athanasian Creed?

What weakening effect does the ESV reading of the Athanasian Creed have on your faith?

For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily. (Colossians 2:9 corrupt ESV) Please note the word 'deity' is NOT capitalized clearly denying Jesus is God and man in one person. Most LCMS pastors and laymen continue to use the corrupt ESV? WHY? WHY? WHY? Why would anyone use the ESV reading of Colossians 2:9?

"But the deity of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is all one:" corrupt ESV reading of Athanasian Creed.

"Equal to the Father as touching His deity...' corrupt ESV reading of Athanasian Creed.

Does your faith need the Greek word 'theos' ( God ) in 1 Timothy 3:16 without doubt creating footnotes?

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV

Does your faith need the doubt creating footnotes and corruption of the ESV. This is a good example of creating doubt in the very text of God's Word. This is lying and deceiving by God's name and Word. God exclusively chose the TEXTUS RECEPTUS (King James Bible, Luther's 1545 Bible) reading of 1 Timothy 3:16 and rejected the corrupt Vaticanus (Sinaticus, Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland, United Bible Society) reading at the beginning of the reformation.
Below is the corrupt ESV reading of 1 Timothy 3 16:

16 Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:

He [a]was manifested in the flesh,
    vindicated[b] by the Spirit,[c]
        seen by angels,
proclaimed among the nations,
    believed on in the world,
        taken up in glory.

Hymn number 98 is an ancient hymn written in 413 AD by Aurelius C. Prudentius. It is based on 1 Timothy 3:16 and confesses that Jesus is begotten of God His Father from all eternity, born of the virgin Mary, true God and Man in one person, one with God the Father and God the Holy Ghost, the Alpha and Omega. Are you willing to allow the fraudulent corrupt Bibles (ESV, NIV, RSV, NKJV, Beck's, NASB, Vaticanus, Sinaticus, Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland, United Bible Society, etc) destroy and weaken your confession of faith by removing the Word 'begotten' and the Word 'God' from this hymn:

"Of the Father's love begotten
Ere the worlds began to be,
He is Alpha and Omega,
He the Source, the Ending He,
Of the things that are, that have been,
And that future years shall see
Evermore and evermore.

Oh, that birth forever blessed
When the Virgin, full of grace,
By the Holy Ghost conceiving,
Bare the Savior of our race,
And the Babe, the world's Redeemer,
First revealed His sacred face
Evermore and evermore.

O ye heights of heaven, adore Him;
And extol our God and King.
Let no tongue on earth be silent,
Every voice in concert ring
Evermore and evermore.

This is He whom heaven taught singers
Sang of old with one accord;
Whom the Scriptures of the prophets
Promised in their faithful word.
Now He shines, the Longexpected;
Let creation praise the Lord
Evermore and evermore.

Christ, to Thee, with God the Father,
And, O Holy Ghost, to Thee
Hymn and chant and high thanksgiving
And unending praises be,
Honor, glory, and dominion,
And eternal victory
Evermore and evermore. (The Lutheran Hymnal, CPH, 1941, Hymn 98)

Does your faith need the word 'virgin' in Isaiah 7:14 without doubt creating footnotes?

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. KJV

Does Isaiah 7:14 in the RSV strengthen or weaken your belief in the virgin birth of Christ? Please remember faith must be 100% certain in the virgin birth of Christ. Does the RSV reading of Isaiah 7:14 increase your uncertainty in the virgin birth of Christ?
Below is the corrupt RSV reading of Isaiah 7:14.

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a young woman[a] shall conceive and bear[b] a son, and shall call his name Imman′u-el.[c]

Footnotes

  1. Isaiah 7:14 Or virgin
  2. Isaiah 7:14 Or is with child and shall bear
  3. Isaiah 7:14 That is God is with us
Please note the corrupt NIV uses a footnote to create doubt in the virgin birth of Christ. Most WELS pastors and laymen use the NIV to undermine the certainty of your faith. WHY? WHY? WHY! Why would anyone use the corrupt RSV or NIV reading of Isaiah 7:14???

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you[a] a sign: The virgin[b] will conceive and give birth to a son, and[c] will call him Immanuel.[d] NIV

Footnotes

  1. Isaiah 7:14 The Hebrew is plural.
  2. Isaiah 7:14 Or young woman
  3. Isaiah 7:14 Masoretic Text; Dead Sea Scrolls son, and he or son, and they
  4. Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel means God with us.
Does your faith need the word 'testament' in Holy Communion or will you trade it in for the empty Calvinistic word 'covenant' that gives nothing?

19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. KJV

Please note that the NIV, ESV,and even the NKJV all change Christ's last will and testament into an empty Calvinistic covenant that gives NOTHING.

19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out to for you is the          new covenant in my blood.[a

Footnotes

  1. Luke 22:20 Some manuscripts omit, in whole or in part, verses 19b-20 (which is given… in my blood)
Notice the doubt creating footnote in the corrupt ESV. Christ's blood is SHED for you NOT 'poured out' for you. We still speak of blood being shed NOT poured out.

The corrupt NIV also changes Christ's last will and testament into an empty Calvinistic 'covenant'. Even worse the footnote in the NIV and ESV casts strong doubt on the text.

19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.[a]

(corrupt NIV reading of Luke 2:19-20)

Footnotes

  1. Luke 22:20 Some manuscripts do not have given for you … poured out for you

Below please note how the NKJV changes Christ's last will and testament into an empty Calvinistic 'covenant'.

19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. (Corrupt NKJV)

Luther said, "Now that little word 'testament' is a short summary of all God's wonder and grace fulfilled in Christ." (Martin Luther, LW, vol 35, pg. 84)

Luther also said, "So in this matter, you must above all things take heed to your heart, that you believe the words of Christ, and admit their truth, when He says to you and to all, 'This is my blood, a new testament, by which I bequeath to you forgiveness of all sins and eternal life.' (Martin Luther, LW, vol  35, pg. 88)

If you are in WELS or LCMS or another synod DEMAND that your pastor says TESTAMENT in Holy Communion. If he refuses then DEMAND private communion using the word TESTAMENT. If he still refuses then find a pastor who will or start your own Lutheran Church with your family. The LCMS new hymnal still uses the King James words of institution but many LCMS pastors say 'covenant' instead of 'testament'.

Martin Chemnitz has a severe warning for all you WELS and LCMS pastors when he said:

"For since Christ instituted His supper in the form of a testament, it is also not allowed at another time to distort even a man's covenant, if it is confirmed, by adding or subtracting. How much greater sin it is therefore to change or mutilate the testament of the Son of God." (Martin Chemnitz, Ministry, Word, and Sacrament, CPH, 1981, pg. 122)

You LCMS and WELS pastors who ignore Chemnitz, Luther, and Christ Himself are lying and deceiving by God's name and Word. You have hardened yourselves into deep seated heresy, apostasy, and unbelief. You have fallen from grace. Repent. God hears, sees, and knows your apostasy and hatred of His Word in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS, Luther's 1545 Bible, and the King James Bible. You create doubt in the Text of God's Word. Oh how you bully boys destroy true faith and true doctrine especially Justification by Faith in Christ. You persecute, threaten, and excommunicate true Christians who hold to Justification by Faith and reject your Objective / Subjective Justification universalism prior to and without faith.

They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Psalm 98:5-11

Does your faith need Mark 16:9-20 ESV account of the resurrection of Christ with doubt creating footnotes and bracketing?

[Some of the earliest manuscripts do not include 16:9–20.][a]

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

[[Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11 But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples

12 After these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. 13 And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.

The Great Commission

14 Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. 15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.]]

Footnotes

  1. Mark 16:9 Some manuscripts end the book with 16:8; others include verses 9–20 immediately after verse 8. At least one manuscript inserts additional material after verse 14; some manuscripts include after verse 8 the following: But they reported briefly to Peter and those with him all that they had been told. And after this, Jesus himself sent out by means of them, from east to west, the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. These manuscripts then continue with verses 9–20 (Mark 9-29 from corrupt doubt creating ESV)

Does your faith need 1 John 5:7,8 without doubt creating footnotes and omissions?.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen (1 John 5 King James Bible)

Please note the strong doubt the ESV creates in the text of 1 John 5 especially verses 7 and 8. Both verses contain errors and omissions. Are you willing to let Satan steal 1 John 5: 7,8 away from you?

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Testimony Concerning the Son of God

This is he who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

That You May Know

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God[a] will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.

18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols

Does your faith need the word 'begotten' in Psalm 2 and John 1, John 3:16 and throughout the gospels and Epistles without doubt creating footnotes?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Does your faith need the word 'begotten' in the Nicene and Athanasian creeds?

16 “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 from corrupted ESV

"And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, one and only of His Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, one and only, not made..." Corrupt ESV / NIV reading of Nicene Creed

"...The Father is made of none, neither created nor one and only. The Son is of the Father alone, not made nor created, but one and only. The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son, neither made nor created,  nor one and only, but proceeding...that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man; God of the Substance of the Father, one and only, before the worlds... Corrupt ESV / NIV reading of Athanasian Creed.

God promises to perfectly preserve the Words He inspired the prophets and apostles to write so we have all of His Words in our hands, heart, and mouth. Please note the pronoun 'thee' refers to Christ. 'Thy seed' refers to Christians who believe in Christ.

19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever. Isaiah 59:19-21

God perfectly preserved the Words He inspired the prophets and apostles to write in the Greek TEXTUS RECEPTUS and the Bibles emanating from it: Luther's 1545 German Bible, English King James Bible, etc) The King James Bible continues to water the souls of men throughout the world as it has for over 400 years.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off

In Christ
